Alliances exist as long as the 'gains' from it are necessary and wanted and the 'losses' are avoided or minimised.
In other words, as long as Israel and India both profit from this alliance, it will continue to exist.
If they stop profiting from the alliance, then it would cease to exist.
However, this would not mean that they would then suddenly become enemies.
Therefore, I only expect short (or long) term gains.
I do not expect any long term losses.
