India is consistently unhappy year on year. Indians are frustrated. The mainstream and social media propaganda has left them confused, meant to be a "superpower" but average Indian sees poverty everywhere. Poverty and corruption have not got better under Modi's rule, but cant admit it because of pride. Being truthful towards yourself is first step to happiness.

Happiness starts with 1st looking after your poor homeless people in Pakistani society, which consequently PM Imran Khan has done well with creating Benaga shelters all major cities. This has to continue to build larger shelters as framework for improving the below average Pakistani society of homeless people.

One of the most depressing countries in the world are Scandinavian... Danes probably don't even know what happy means... stiff, rude, judgmental, depressed, egomaniacs filled with pretense(here's a line to chew at, "depression is the most burdensome desease in Denmark"). There are every shade of Swedes but Fins? again, irony is lost.
Canadians perennially under the weather with most Canadians only experiencing 8 to 10 months of winter with balance in summer.
It seems a feel good exercise on behalf of those whose daily grind doesn't even let them watch the expensive TVs they own and mortgages to pay... Ah! At least we're happy!
What?
On with the grind, if nothing else world knows we're happy!

Pakistan was 65th last year and now it’s 105th. The drop is not because Pakistan has become less happy, it’s because the metrics are changed for this year and included questions specifically in regard to COVID-19. Data could not be collected in Pakistan this year at all due to COVID and hence they’ve used averages from 2017-18 (not sure why they didn’t use the 2020 report) and reduced it accordingly to account for COVID. Next year Pakistan will Likely be around 60 again as it has been going Up in the index gradually since 2013. 105 is still a really big thing in that case. Excluding the COVID and the fact that they used older reports where Pakistan was lower on the rankings (around 90) it is likely Pakistan would still be around 60 in 2021/2022.

You can see it says at the bottom of the picture that data from Pakistan was not available this year and these are just estimations. Otherwise a fall of 40 places would be very alarming.
