World Bank trying to make Bhasha Dam controversial

Gilgit-Baltistan is the part of Jammu and Kashmir, so Pakistan can't ask for funds from an international body to build dam there.

And what you are doing in illegally occupied Kashmir is fully legal, right.

World Bank trying to make Bhasha Dam controversial

more challenge for the proponents of water dams.
It is on record that IMF has given as much money to Zardari.. which has never be given to any state but no money for infrastructure projects !!!
Common sense is enough to see the evil behind... people of Pakistan stop supporting agents of IMF and world bank in shape of popular leaders.
IMF and world bank is not evil in any sense. its lack of knowledge among us that we think so. IMF and world bank are two diff organisation with different purpose
1.IMF to avoid a fiscal crunch to avoid a govt to collapse however it ask govt for tax and subsidy reforms to avoid such situations in future
2. world bank soft loans on devlopemntal projects
thank worldbank for mangla, tarbela and tarbela expansion that are now/will be producing 70% of your total power(7000+MW)

Kashmir is India, we have accession of Kashmir with India, you have no document to claim Kashmir.

Gilgit-Baltistan is the part of Jammu and Kashmir, so Pakistan can't ask for funds from an international body to build dam there.

But Gilgit Baltistan is not a Pakistani territory.

You don't consider it Pakistani territory, there were no election in Gilgit Baltistan and there is no representation of Gilgit Baltistan in Pakistan's National Assembly.

You might be right but all the tourists or mountaineers who visit GB require permit from govt of Pakistan. And this ground reality alone negates all the history you have mentioned. It is a defacto Pakistani territory.

WB is doing right. Our bheek mangi govt deserves this.

And please keeep this cr@p out of here. Nobody will believe in this and the thread would be derailed.

Pakistan has kept a confused status of these territories.

Pakistan has kept a confused status of these territories.

They are territory of Pakistan but not given full status because of the conflict. They are defacto territory of Pakistan if not dejure.

There were no election in these areas for Pakistan's National Assembly. These lands are far from being called Pakistani territory. :cheesy:

Just having no election doesn't mean they are not Pakistani territory. Elections are held in these regions after the respective period ends and they are held under Pakistani constitution. :)

The WB funds no projects in Indian Kashmir, the same will hold for the Pakistani part. India funds all her projects with internal finance, the problem for Pakistan is that they can't spare the funds for this & other similar projects. It really doesn't matter how many people whine, the WB is unlikely to budge from its stance nor is India about to allow such a proposal to pass unhindered.

They have no role in the election of the government of Pakistan and no representation in Pakistan's National Assembly. Without representation how could these land be considered as Pakistani territory. You won't see such confused territorial status anywhere in the world having democratic setup.

Taking loans is Haram in Islam . Why are you pakistanis trying to be haramee?:omghaha:
