SAHIWAL - Two coal fired power plants with a total generation capacity of 1320 mw are being established at Qadirabad in Sahiwal District. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is expected to lay the foundation stone of these plants on Friday
The Punjab Government has constituted a cabinet committee to constantly review progress and other matters relating to the project. Meanwhile, the Nandipur Power Project has begun generating 95 megawatt of power in its first phase.
