But Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Egypt and Sudan --- all are Arab countries

Some of the above mentioned countries also speak Berber but the majority understands Arabic and that is the dominated language in the whole region

Thank you for that post, but you are using the criterion of using Arabic as a language, whereas I was referring to the Berber race:

Berbers (Berber: Imazighen / Imaziɣen) are the indigenous ethnic group of North Africa west of the Nile Valley. They are continuously distributed from the Atlantic to the Siwa oasis, in Egypt, and from the Mediterranean to the Niger River.

The Arabic language came much later to the Berber people.
