They abducted the Chinese national which led Musharraf to order operation but he did the mistake by not killing Mullah Burkha.

Yup. They kidnapped Chinese prostitues from a 'massage parlor'. I'm assuming you know what a happy ending is?

Its a new tactic by extremist apologists. Say what they did wrong but they had no choice. It's the same excuse provided by terrorists supporters in 2009 about how the terrorists were right bcz Pakistan is not Islamic or how the terrorists were right bcz Pakistan helped US or the how terrorist tactics of blowing themselves up were right bcz they cant fight a conventional war. So now if anybody attacks shia then its the excuse that shia are allowed militant groups and iranian agents, if the attack is on celebrities then they are all whores spreading fahashi so what can they do, if the attack is on ahmedis then they are agents of India and spread anti islamism what can they do, if the attack is on government officials then the government is anti Islamic so what can they do.

Its the same excuse for support of terrorism by terrorist sympathizers. Different words. Same excuses.

I'm sorry, but I'm not justifying kidnapping or anything of the kind. Simply analyzing Pakistani society and drawing comparisons.

The students reported the whore houses to the police first, which is completely legal and the way things should be handled. The problem was the corruption within the police force.

I'm not saying what the students did was right at all. It was a criminal act, but on the other end of the spectrum the police and prostitution ring are also criminals. I was simply pointing out that when society is pushed to a certain point whether conservative or liberal, there tends to be a backlash.

I would keep lecturing and keep stopping that is my religious duty I don't need your view on this

No it's not your religious duty. You did your part and you leave it. You don't enforce your decisions on people. Pakistan has a music and entertainment industry. It's going on global platforms and is competitive on a global stance. You're conservative and that's respected, so in return respect others. It's different if this was done in Bazaars but honestly compared to what Pakistan has previously experienced where was the Mullah brigade then? No where. Atleast now the industry has literate and more classy people.

Extremism of any kind is condemned, however when one enforces their views or ways of life on other people. Then we have a problem.

Totally true!!

When society is pushed to a certain post ------------------------- whether conservative ------------------ or liberal-----------------------whether BY conservatives or by the liberals!!

True!!

I am just kidding with this guy with little sarcasm.
Just quoted it as an example.

I think people in Islamabad are more with it than the rest, maybe because there's more work enforcement, higher institutes and it's tourist based also.

I was modern dressed (nothing explicit) and aside the STARES didn't get pulled up on it by any officials. So that's a good sign how people are left to mind their own business.

Concentration on poverty, infrastructure and corruption would be relevant and of high importance.

That's there for ages,no one will ask you about your attire.
And that's just hobby of some people's to curse these celebrities.
Sharm o Haya is very sensitive topic in Pakistan, though it has encountered utmost hypocrisy from us.

We need to start appreciating our celebrities, they go to the outside world, they obviously come from liberal households for them to be hosted in movies, so why is their attire a surprise? Most of them wear modern clothing in their own homes, we need to appreciate that people come from different households but that doesn't make them bad. Most of these people would love to dress like that if allowed, so turn bitter towards those who do have permits. Men are okay to watch Punjabi mujra style movies that have been in Pakistan for so long. But any woman in a skirt playing decent roles on screen and comes from a foreign country giving her Motherland recognition only to be abused by people is ridiculous.

Where was the outcry when skin tight kameezes and dhotis with long slits on bulky women dancing and rolling around was aired? But wearing sophisticated modern wear and carrying yourself in a classy manner is thrashed? *rolls eyes*
