On the contrary to other members, I love Red and it's shades like maroon, magenta, Brick red, Tomato red etc and goes well with my complexion. But this Red looks nice only for T shirts and Jackets and not for Shirts.
Blue and its shades are my another favorite (except Violet and Royal Blue)..

AA, Well colors never make gays but yes if they are then PINK is allocated to them..

The color is what you like and suits you as well. Red I think is used for chocolatee heroes type while Black for macho type now this is girl's choice to prefer her type ..

I try my best to avoid wearing colors like Red (exception is my Red Bulls T, which given their performance I should stop wearing), Purple, Maroon and definitely PINK. I use try because I keep getting them as gifts now and then.
