FAISALABAD: A woman has sought Rs20 million in damages from singer and songwriter Hadiqa Kiani after she allegedly lost her hairs following a beauty treatment at the singer’s saloon.

The woman, identified as Zahida, also filed a separate Rs20 million claim against the owner of the Hadiqa Kiani Salon's franchise in Faisalabad and demanded a compensation of Rs2.5 million worth of expenses.

The woman claimed in the lawsuit that she suffered hair loss after visiting the beauty salon for a straightening treatment.

She further alleged that it was the use of harmful creams that caused her hair to fall out, distorting her appearance.

A local court has summoned Hadiqa Kiani, the salon's franchise owner, Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, as well as the district health officer on December 16.

The franchise owner said they would file a reply in the court over the matter.

LOL, what can I say. I never knew Pakistani ladies go to such lengths to straighten their hair. Isn't our hair naturally straight anyways? Anyways, Pakistan's quality is really poor. Last year I went to a dentist in Rawalpindi for a tooth filling. Just a few weeks ago the filling fell out. Go figure

That's happened to one of my family members! Original filling was done by a Pakistani dentist that lasted around 10 years whereas the new filling by UK dentist lasted only 4 months!

Go figure!

8 years going strong. I went to a cheap dentist tho.

Got lasik from Lahore for $500. Which is peanuts compared to American rates. This one was a trendy upscale clinic tho. No complaints. Hehe
