Woman possessed by jinn or mentally ill? You decide

. . . . . .
I've seen these types many times. There's nothing wrong with her. She's probably really bored from having too much time on her hands which has probably mad her SLIGHTLY mad. She needs to hit the gym and lose that weight too. If she did go the gym regularly then she wouldn't be having these problems.
It's often a cry for help or attention seeking.
It's a way of saying something you want to say and telling people something you want them to know without taking personal responsibility in a society and culture where saying certain things and expressing certain needs and thoughts carry a stigma.
It can also be a way of applying pressure on your family to acquiesce to something you know they would be ordinarily opposed to.

Ager bibi ki time se shadi hojati tu yeh jin kabhi na aata.
Had she timely got married, this jin would have never hit her..desires + frustrations = demon effects in women.
That's exactly what this is usually about.

. .
Brain creates compartments and develops parallel personalities unknowingly to his consciousness. Some times they come out like this. This is normal not a Jinn.

I think its acting but really bad.

. . .
Jinns are as real as the hair on your head. That being said they avoid contact with humans so the possibility of you being harassed by one is miniscule. Unless you do it harm by trying to control it, then it also has kin that will come for you.

Some have built constructive relationships with humans and this recorded. There also instances of their contribution in one of Pakistan's wars.

It's easy to tell a mental illness apart from being harassed by a Jinn.

how come this never happens to disbelievers anyway
It does hahaha, the interesting part is. Muslims have always been more educated about dealing with the issues. They are well aware of medical issues and those that arent not medical related but spiritual. Read into the accounts of Muslims with the Christian crusaders.

Jinn "exorcism" wasn't a thing pre-Crusaders...
The "Disbelievers" as you quoted them...are the one who made such "Practice" widely propagated in the Islamic world. Even among Byzantines such practice wasn't a thing... The Uneducated Western Roman Empire was quite "Excited" by such phenomenon... as it was a way of "Control" by the Roman Church on the population...
Mostly used on Women... for multiple reasons...
Added to it, The Eastern conquest that brought up such "diverse" folklore/practice"

As what this video is about... We should accept the existence of Jinns... But the main course of Action is a psychological/psychiatric support. Since Jinns "impact" on Humans in Islam is very limited...Therefore not exploitable as a universal way in such situations.

Now, as for the benefit of such "Practice" we also need to address the end result of it... Like any Psychotherapy available , the main target is the clinical approach to the demand of the patient...
When someone comes in for a particular problematic, her main "goal" is to found/understand her situation, we use what we "believe" to be appropriate, according to what we learned and work on it little by little with the patient... as a main focus on "helping the patient Think her own problematic/situation" and therefore begin a work of self-thinking/awareness.

Now, can we say such "exorcism" to be out "practice"/"not useful"... the answer is no, with a small "n"... Since there is no "theoretical/clinical" approach in that psychotherapy therefore it's "Do, if it works, then congrats"...

Now, such practice shouldn't be categorically "put aside" just because we do not have the theoretical aspect of it... but it shouldn't be the "go to"... But more like a last "resort", before the psychiatric support...

People should remember that the "Psychological" field IS a theoretical Field... with models based upon it as a way to "understand" a dynamic... In the End... In The eyes of "Pure Empirical Science"... Psychology is as heavy as this "exorcism"...
