With nine independents’ support, PTI becomes largest party in Punjab -- 132 members

Sad that internal fighting within PTI ranks resulted in many pro-PTI politicians being forced to stand as independents (so they allege in the article). Not a good precedent and Tareen and Qureishi really need to sort their differences out.

I wrote a detailed answer....but then withheld/deleted (I saved it for some later time) because of certain critical info which may not be suitable to share right now especially on a public forum.

Pakistan muslim league noon ina lilahe wa ina elehe rajion

Not so soon.

With mass rigging narrative, PML(N)/PPP/Media (and may be even establishment ;) ) will put a very heavy dent in the legitimacy of the PTI government, and this will really hurt their brand in Punjab primarily.

PTI has to acknowledge that not only it has to deliver extraordinarily---it also has to consolidate its gains across Pakistan (especially Punjab, KPK, and Karachi).....and make sure not to piss off the establishment at the wrong time.

Knowing our establishment, they might not want the rise of an AKP-like party in Pakistan. It's a very complicated situation

You living under a rock or something? She took on Nawaz in his home ground

I must be since first time I heard her name was today on TV. so contesting against NS on his home ground makes someone worthy of chief ministership

extraordinary performance seems unrealistic because of dependence on independent candidates and corrupt electibles for govt fomation.they will keep govt underpressure for heavy funds and will oppose any legislation against their personal interest .it seems temporary change like pmlq govt bring in punjab under musharaf rule
but later again pmln come to power.pmln lost more seats in punjab not because of pti but due to TLPsh
