Pakistan has only Block 52 and Bahrain is purchasing Block 70 ... when will Pakistan get hold on latest F16s.. PAF needs to ac and act fast ... especially when India is deplying RaFAIL near Pakistan border

Pakistan has been operating F-16 for almost 40 years when it bought Block-52, there was no sign of Block-70s.
We are not in a race with Bahrain and when the Ragfales are operational, we will deal with them.

It is my dream to see this fighter with the PAF. No Chinese 5th generation or Russian 4.5 gen. Just block 70.
Its the only viable response to Rafale.

J-10 would have done. But in case of PAF we have no money and we have invested too much into F-16s so that going for blk 70 is more feasible than replacing them with j-10s. In the end money matters.

That's my take.
