With 500 Soldiers On Guard, China Starts New Construction In Doklam

BS. China left AP and had to flee cause they knew their army was not capable of holding it as the surprise factor was over.
China wanted to build a road till a navigable pass in doklam but now with India blocking the road before it reached there, China's dream is over for ever
China actually invaded AP and left because it was logistically too hard to maintain, thereafter the defeated IA came creeping back. The road had already reached Doka-La, basically covering the whole Doklam, all along it was near the Indian border, where were you before that? Did we abandon it or did we gave you a face saving concession in return for defacto annexation of Doklam?. Nobody gives something for free, for a deal to work, there must be an exchange. Are you really so naive to think India is a supa powa and therefore China just caved in? Remember there are Chinese troops in Doklam now, fair exchange to me. The biggest loser is Bhutan, they were too stupid to think India is capable of anything other than rhetoric:rofl:.

Nope...I actually think China would have considered Indian sensitivity had it been diplomatic. We don't have to give up any territory, we could actually reduce our build up and negotiated India do the same at Doka La. Thereby making it a buffer zone. But now the exact opposite is happening, we are militarizing Doklam as we speak.

You are such a hypocrite.
Did you not know that India massacred the Sikhs to stem the Khalistan nationalist movement ?
Come back and talk only after India stop killing indiscriminately Kashmiri freedom protesters, Naxalites, and North East Independence proponents.
China is certainly much more humane and generous than brutal India in managing their dissidents.
.

Well the topic here is china occupied Tibet and their ultimate warning to lady gaga over this issue :D
You must be loafing too much around this forum while taking salary from Singapore.
The TOPIC here is China continue ROAD BUILDING IN DONGLANG and India too coward to respond.
Wake up, don't loaf too much.

Just a few months ago, India murdered 50-100 innocent protestors in Kashmir. Including the famous picture where they tied a Kashmiri to the front of a truck as a human shield.

To flee you would need someone to force you to flee. =). We went in and massacred your soldiers and left.
Navigable pass? Do you even know geography, the only way to reach the plains from a ridge is by jumping down genius.

It was just to extend a road to Jampheri ridge, it is a 'ridge' a.k.a end of the plateau? Get it? There is no strategic advantage to extend it that far, controlling Doklam plateau is more than enough to house those hundreds of missiles. Reaching the end of the plateau is more of a symbolic gesture to show authority. Instead of stopping China building roads all over the plateau, we gave you a postponement of a single road to a ridge in return for de facto annexation, such geniuses.

Satellite images show two roads from Doklam which separately lead to the town of Yatung in the Chumbi Valley, where China bases the soldiers that it uses for its operations in the high-altitude Doklam Plateau.

India's official position is that Donglang is Bhutan's territory, protected by a mutual defence treaty with India.

What happened?

Bhutan has learned the bitter way not to rely on India. That's probably why They stayed mum during the whole India orchestrated (badly played out) saga.

Yes, in fact I think that this was the entire point of the episode. To let Bhutan know, as Nepal before it, that they have a choice.

Whether or not China extends or widens the roads in Donglang isn't that important, we already have control of the plateau which means that we are already directly threatening India's Chicken Neck.

But China is pushing the construction issue forward regardless, because it lets Bhutan know that India, despite their big promises, can't even protect themselves from China. So how can they protect Bhutan?

Now Bhutan sees that the one who has military control of Donglang (as well as multiple other points on the disputed Sino-Bhutan border) is China. If they want to negotiate on friendly terms, China can be very generous, much more so than India could afford.

Lol. These are old roads. Why quote selectively? You can build what you want in your territory - although it is amusing that you are so scared that you think you need India's permission t build in the area you were thrown out of - which was Bhutanese territory. "So after being stopped from expanding its road south towards India, China is maintaining an aggressive stand". You can be as aggressive as you want n your country. You don't need Indian permission.

Wait, so Donglang is now "our territory" and "our country"? So you now regard it as Chinese territory?

Because India's official position is that Donglang is Bhutan's territory, and thus protected by a mutual defence treaty with India.

Yet India unilaterally retreated from Donglang, leaving China to continue road construction, as well as building permanent military garrisons there? Why did India chicken out of protecting Bhutan, and even their own Chicken's Neck by retreating from Donglang?

No roads in Donglang remember? Except that China is building roads there day and night.

Of course it is Bhutanese territory. Am sure the Bhutanese are fine with you being of some use and building some roads in their land. You were forbidden from building the road in a specific area overlooking a place of strategic importance. You complied. good China.

So it's Bhutanese territory, strategically important to India's Chicken Neck corridor, and which India has now handed control of to the Chinese military.

Why would you betray Bhutan like that?

What happened to your "mutual defence treaty"? Does it say, in case Bhutan's territory is threatened by China, India should unilaterally retreat and hand over Bhutan's territory to China?

Lol. India has not handed over anything to China. Nor has Bhutan given up its claim to its rightful territory. China has withdrawn from the specific area it was asked to withdraw from. Have they returned to build a road there? Lol or are you still waiting for the weather to get better? Poor little China - still doesn't have the technology to build roads in adverse weather. Haha
