The writer is abit confused, first he says that PPP is not a political threat anymore except in Sindh. So why would PTI make an alliance with a party that has no strength, it defies logic.
Senate elections were totally different and will have no bearing on the general elections. Imran Khan knows that by joining hands with Zardari will be a political suicide, especially when there are no benefits from this alliance.
Another thing the writer has paid much attention to his the political history of Pakistan. 90% of the time by-elections are won by the party in power, happened during ppp era, happened during the PMLQ time. So PMLN winning by-elections now means absolutely nothing.
By the time the next general elections come NS would mostly likely be found guilty of corruption and he and his family sent to jail if not sent to exile. This will be another dent to the current ruling party.
in Urban Sindh MQM is a dead horse, yes they might still pull a few seats but generally speaking they will not be able to get the same numbers as they have done previously. Chances of PPP capturing those seats is as slim as the chances of snowing in Karachi. So i only see PSP and PTI taking seats from Urban Sindh
KPK is already under the PTI belt and they will likely get more seats than previous GE. ANP and PPP are wiped out and even JI has lost a lot of support even after being part of the current KPK govt.
Punjab is going to be the Waterloo, the real question is who are the French in that battlefront.
Sorry but your lack of political wisdom is outstanding. PTI only has 11 senators, they had no chance of getting any post. But even then PTI was able to manage 2 things, PMLN was unable to get any post, even though it had the most senators. Secondly Zardari was unable to bring his own chairman and had to settle for vice-chairman.

ik will bring no change.ppp will most likely to win next election like they did in senate.ik totally loser in senate.ppp has deputy chairman and opposition leader and chairman is also of zardari choice but ik fails even to get opposition leader in senate.he is tissue paper being used by establishment and zardari and zardari called him a dog by saying to hunt lion you have to make alliance with dogs
