Windows 8 Opinion

I have used Windows 8, found it a bit annoying so for now I am fine with Windows 7. It is brilliant. :)

Rain meter and docket is all I need for a seamless experience.

Damn, I am still using XP.

No more updates means it open to security vulnerabilities. Especially with a problem with ms access.

Tried Windows 8.1 RTM yesterday (Thanks to the leak by WZT) :bounce: I must say MS improved the OS very much. Even though there are not many visible changes except the "return" of good old START button which actually opens the start screen for which Windows 8 is famous; but 8.1 uses very less resources as compared to Windows 8.

I use Windows 8 on the Surface Pro and an older PC. Honestly, Windows 8 has a ton of solid back-end improvements over Windows 7. I've used W8 and W7 and I found W8 to be rock-solid in stability and faster/smoother than W7, though the new UI stuff (i.e. no Start Menu) is a little bit of an annoyance.

I am using Windows 8 since its preview version was released and I cannot tolerate Windows 7 on my laptop since then.
