Macs and iphone are good for every reason except one they are expensive. Recently my macbook's mother board got water damaged and now I will have to expense 25,000 more just for motherboard.

But this is also true I like mac OS more than windows OS. But Microsoft are also including good features in windows 10 and so on.

The day I found a windows machine with better trackpad on it like macbook, I will say good bye to macbook.

I will buy a decent windows machine will install in it a 512 gb SSD drive. And will use both macOS and windows OS in it via bootcamp or any other tool.

First of all, can you show where did I say about iPhone? I just said about MacOS...do you even know the difference between iPhone and MacOS ..and btw one is a device and the other is OS for desktop. So your comments tell me that you equate iPhone with MacOS ...lolzzz

I prefer lubuntu it reminds of the good old days of windows 2000 plus it does wonders for battery timing
With a little tinkering i got skyrim and glt almost 30% extra battery timing with little to no difference in performance

In my home and at my office, I have all the three OS..My home-servers are Linux CentOS and FeeNAS machines in the basement, while my HTPC and gaming machines are Windows 10 while for productivity I use iMac Pro and MBP but also TP X1 carbon..but mostly I find picking up my MBP for travel and use, though I pack TPX1 as a backup. You should try AppleCare to cover such damages.

Bang for the buck puts all apple products at a disadvantage
Its almost impossible to install mods for mobile games in iphone but for android you can do that
Apple users prefer the restrictions but those of us who like to mess around find it boring

Best is to use cloud servers or services. iCloud is great especially if you using MacOS and windows but then you have to pay above a certain size. I pay 89 sek month for a terabyte of storage while on my servers I have Plex server installed that allows to me stream movies to my HTPC from the NAS at 10 GBP connection and that gives speed faster than the HDD's.
