Really?..........Armenia, Azerbaijan, all the C-stans, Iran and China/ Russia are already trading in their own currencies, bypassing the USD. Turkey, Iraq, Syria and possibly even Pakistan will be added to this list of countries trading in their own currencies. The eastern bloc takes shape along with China's SCO. Putin along with Xi will court the eastern Europeans next as they are bankrupt. Cheap gas and free trade in their own currencies with the vast Chinese markets via the burgeoning land corridor of high speed rail is the incentive. CPEC/ OBOR and EEAU are realities now.

US / EU economic sanction could collapse russia
soviet union eventually collapsed because of its longlasting economic depression . today russia still depends on oil sales in exchange of goods from EU / China . russian economy still can't self-suffice . and it gives US another chance to collape russia . russian economy is worse while US / EU economy grows . at this point russian's only hope is trade with China, but China is NEVER willingly to aid russia at the deep level . we should understand all countries can't live with worse economy
