Some of you people thinks that racism happens to only a few unlucky people which I disagree. As I have said in the first post, almost every people have story to tell, let me tell you a few of mine, I did my first year of college in Punjab, as me and my room mate could not tolerate the racist attacks more, we both went home, I continued here in NE, I was robbed in a bus after they asked me if I'm from China. One of my friend was shot in Allahabad and almost died, but it was never mentioned in public. Many people just tends to keep their stories to themselves.

Sorry to hear that.I can assure you such incidents have come down a lot.I live in a small town and even here there are some Nepalis and north easterners whom no one troubles or look differently.It is just that we needed some time to get used to you people as you clearly stand out.I assure you,you come down to any south Indian city and you will not be harassed based on your looks.There may be some fools here and there ;but such people can be found in every country.

If we go with this some a-holes in Maharashtra hate North Indians, some North Indians hate South Indians, some Haryanvi+Punjabi people hate people from Bihar and UP. So, we all need separate countries
