Will Scrap 'Triple Talaq' Law If We Come To Power, Says Congress Leader

So what is your point?
Are you really that thick or pretending to be?

You said nothing stops the couple from remarrying if they want. To remarry under Islamic rule the woman needs to perform Nikah Halala. I gave you an example of what it means. And you still think that it is alright?

.
The law against Triple Talaq is a good law and is as per the Islamic principals. It will be sad if new Indian govt scrap that law

The BJP did it to polarize the female votes.

The Congress is only replying in the same coin by polarising the male votes.

Its all politics. No one gives a damn about what Muslims do in their internal community.

As long as they vote as a block and not as free thinking Indians, everyone will manipulate them.

Everyone .....

Cheers, Doc

What you posted just proves that there is a way to get remarried. There are many other ways too to get remarried. I find no issues.

Why should non-Muslims care how Muslims get their divorce?

Because a country has everyone and if everyone does everything without a certain legal limit, it will be a madhouse. Why are Muslims always wanting to be separate or consider themselves above the law of the land when all other communities are willing to follow a common law?

Judiciary is for everyone. Period.

Does anyone or law prevent divorced couple from re-marrying?

No it doesn't. But usually that is after some gap.

Marriage is a contract in Islam. If a girl gets into a wrong contract with eyes shut, then you cannot blame the boy.

Even contracts have gestation periods to fruition.

TT just eliminates that and is illegal.

How? I do not see any difference between triple talaq and talaq.

That's just a backward mentality that's all.

Nothing to it.

Good to see Pakistanis being more open-minded than the Arab-wannabes in India.

Maybe our hosts here can teach their compatriots that practicality of today's times are okay to follow and that other Islamic countries have scrapped regressive systems long back.

Indian constitution does not treat all its citizens as equal. So why apply different yard stick here?

No it doesn't. But usually that is after some gap.

so there is no problem.

When People can get fired from their jobs with no notice under capitalistic system, Why not instant divorce?

That's just a backward mentality that's all.

Nothing to it.

Why do you think so? If the couple do not want to be married, why should anyone force them?

Really?

We Buddhists have to face the same courts and laws to separate just as Hindus, Jews, Parsis, Christians, Sikhs etc. have to face.

If you think you are above this all, you are free to leave.

Considering your views on TT, not even Pakistanis would like you given that they have given equal rights to their women on this matter much before you.

When People can get fired from their jobs with no notice under capitalistic system, Why not instant divorce?

You are comparing profession with a personal relation.

Unless you are transactional in your family, there is a lot more that goes into family as an institution than a job.

Marriages have an emotional quotient built in them too, which is what we call being a human.

That emotional quotient needs time to be reconsidered - whether the divorce was out of anger, indifference or due to momentary dislike or disagreement.

Why do you think so? If the couple do not want to be married, why should anyone force them?

No one is forcing them.

They have to undergo a due process which tries to help them either re-unite or even after some trying, allows them to part without any bias.

It is as per Surah Nisa, which prescribed the way of Talaq and it is nothing at all like triple talaq thing. There are 5 main school of thoughts in Islam, Jaffri (Shia), Hanfi, Malki, Shafi and Hanbali. Only Hanafi, which is predominately in India Pakistan and Turkey believes in triple talaq, all other do not agree with it. LOL even the Wahabis do not agree with the triple talaq concept
