India is a bigger market and thus will attract the bigger stars.

Pakistan has a nutty security situation, so no big star would feel safe playing here.

Its like comparing the NFL with the CFL and on top of that Canada has worse of a security problem as Mexico.

No comparison with IPL, We can compare it and should try to make it bigger than Bangladesh League..

Come on guys, let's be sensible here. How can the PSL compete with an established league that was in fact the first such league? How can the PSL better or equal the IPL when the money just isn't there? This is what it all comes down to-$$$, and of course in India this $$$ is there for cricket but in PSL it is in short supply. Similarly the Australian, BD, English,NZ, South African etc etc leagues are unlikely to match the IPL's success as the funds/demand for cricket domestically just isn't there- what nation can compete with 1 billion+ cricket mad Indians who are getting wealthier at a dramatic rate year on year?

The IPL being the first was able to dominate the space that others tried to emulate but invariably these plans have had to, in many cases, be planned around the IPL timetable.



We don't even have to mention the real or perceived security threat to foreign players in Pakistan.

It won't when there are bombs going off in Pakistan. Its wasting money-no one wants to come to Pakistan. This is one of those pride-talking posts. However when Indians pride talking they talk about taking over Maldives. Instead when its our pride talking we are saying meow like a pathetic starved cat.

Anyone bother to talk about our foreign policy and how in 10 years time we will be an Indian colony with them growing assertive and we taking a side role. All thanks to the TTP.

Well (very sincerely) ,it'll be better if they include at least one female cricketer in each team.

What?

Females can work along side you,there is co-education as well.They can fly jet fighter in PAF.

It'll be innovative.And will be a confident booster for female players.(Also for the male crickters)

At least introduce some female umpires.


Focus less on Cheerleaders more on Female players.

Some fancy footwork ,over the head of the bowler towards the boundry for a Flat 6.

Pakistan right now should only concentrate on bringing the international Players in Pakistan and not try to compete with anyone, if they are able to do that then the league is successful, and it will be historical!

IPL is designed for bookies and corruption, yet to see any world class bowler or batsman emerged from IPL.
A 3rd class cricketer like Jadega is million dollar man in IPL lol
Our model should be like Australian Big Bash league, find new talent, give exposure to young players to become future world stars.

PCB is not aiming to outseat IPL, its aiming to bring international players to Pak and expose our youth to some challenging cricket.

Being as big as IPL will probably harm our national team the same way it did for India.
