Because Pakistani society as whole are corrupt and leaders come out of this corrupt society. Unless improvements in ethics and education are made, this trend will continue to hold. It’s unfair to expect ethical leaders to emerge out from unethical societies. PM Imran is a rare exception just like other great men in history but his success depends on how he takes on the demons within his own party and also what steps he takes to change the current situation in Pakistan by creating credible institutions that can stem the tide of corruption.

But if there’s one man that can create a prosperous and just Pakistan, it’s PM Imran Khan.
