I'm sure there are many people you hate. But India is a free country, and the government cannot and should not go around killing people you hate or they hate.

Ignore self defeating voices, and do what is in the best interest of the country - which in this context happens to be building as many N-plants as we can, as fast as we can. And make sure we build the most sophisticated, safe and productive plants. Get the best technologies from france, russia and S korea. This investment of a few billion dollars will bring in growth worth trillions in the next 25-30 years. Will reduce poverty in many places because of the increased industrial and manufacturing output. Will eliminate power cuts and improve the lives of everyone, especially people doing small businesses.

Reactionary voices will automatically go silent when that starts happening.

People like him will cause real damage only if the government succumbs to them and stops building N-plants. That is not happeneing. As of now, people like him can do nothing more than appearing on TV shows and shouting on the streets. That too by paying a few people with NGO funds. None of that does any actual damage to anybody. If he actually tries to prevent construction of power plants by force, then get the CISF or state police to lock them up. Expressing their opinion, no matter how stupid, does not deserve killing by the government.

Yes they can ... for example some Dhongi Sadhus were fasting untill death for scrapping dams on Ganga river.
And Our government has to scrap it to some twisted religious logic..

I don't say give them death .. but atleast put them behind bar... In democracy right of speech is recognised but You can not shout 'BOMB' in a cinemahall.

See I don;t think this is the right solution. Nuclear energy is inevitable due to costs and output. But what needs to be addressed is how we implement safer operational procedures and practices. Also, we need to address better emergency and medical needs regarding India's nuclear path. We should definitely push research to new levels in green energy, there should be no compromise. If India uses nuclear energy, it should make the same serious effort to incorporate green tech wherever possible.
