The outgoing Raheel Sharif and last Chief Kayani, were very fond of meeting CM Punjab secretly and frequently. Should we expect the tradition to continue?

firstly its the other way round, and secondly IMO this "tradition" will continue given the political situation of the civilian gov.

How come it is the other way around when it is a "SECRET" meeting by choice of both parties.

Iftikhar Ch was hero when he was in service and now he is villein and will see what will come out after retirement of RS

At least to me, he was never a hero. In my honest opinion, Raheel was a more glorified Iftikhar Chaudhry as he got a better DG ISPR. Three words sum him up, Photoshoot Bobby Sharif.

RS never goes to meet him, SS comes to meet him in GHQ.
Wow. Did he force his way to GHQ if Raheel didn't want to meet as all along Raheel touted himself as being "apolitical". A meeting even took place at private residence in Lahore.

Depends on who is the next army chief.. But if Raheel gets extension for a year, the next Army chief will surely be like Ishaq Dar. This is what NS is planning, to give RS one year extension.

I do not understand this PTI stupidness. If Army Chief doesn't step in to take control of the Gov they start crying Punjabi establishment and start venting frustration elsewhere PTI has lately started to act like a loser party regressing itself to Pashtun nationalism. The truth is PTI is still a young party and needs time to really get entrenched in national politics.
RS has done his best remaining in ambit of law. What we as a nation have come to admire overtime are Generals with fake bravado 'Shpalu'. Those who actually are ambitious and give it a cover of 'meray azeez humwatno' so a thoughtful , calculative and reasonable General is taken as inactive, punjabi, status quo etc etc. We need to get rid of this thought process. I am confident history will remember him as a general who turned the tide.

No doubt, PTI is stupid and worst party on Pakistan. I have voted against them in local bodies.

No doubt, there shouldn't be a '"mere aziz hmwatno" as that is out of ambit of law.

My question is under what ambit of law Chiefs secretly meet Shahbaz Sharif?

Well your question is wrong at so many levels I dont know where to start. First if you know about such meetings then they were not so secret afterall otherwise you wouldn't have known. Secondly it is not a requirement of law that ISPR advertise every meeting. Thirdly even if they meet secretly, A COAS and a Chief minister cannot just meet up like a Bashir and Ashraf at nookarr of street. The staff gets involved and everbody knows a meeting can never be kept secret. Fourthly every backdoor maneuvering does not need to be in public knowledge. It is naive to think otherwise. I could go on...

Thanks for enlightening me. So here comes the next wrong question that why every secret meeting takes place with CM of Punjab but not with CM of any other province? Are they children of lesser God?

Do you mean the same way RS met IK? Or the direct contact between them during Dharna drama where IK was spanked in to behaving himself?

I don't get this nation, if the Army tries to act as a mediator in their disputes, phir bhi galli. If they take over government, phir bhi galli. If they don't come in between in their dirty games, phir bhi galli.

Can't run this country themselves and like to blame everything on the Army. What's next? We are going to blame the Army for us throwing our sh*t on the streets too? Let's blame the Army for taking and giving bribes too. "Blame the Army" seems to be the newest trend amongst the inbred loonies.

Punjab, Punjab and Punjab. If you remove the lens of Provincial bias you would know the meetings repotedlt happen around when there are serious apprehensions in Army regarding Fed Gov and Shahbaz Shareef comes in as a rep of Fed gov not Punjab ,trying to remove them. Good cop bad cop routine both brothers play. I am sure if CM of any other province wants to meet COAS secretly he won't refuse too. So for instance if CM KPK wants ho meet RS over CPEC I don't think he will refuse.BTW how do you know other CMs don't meet 'secretly' ? it maybe media doesn't think it important enough to report? I doubt you have your own intel sources.
