We both know Realpolitik does not work that way. The constitution of Bosnia from day one was a multi-ethnic constitution. Further, tens of thousands of Bosnian serbs supported the referendum and many were in the Bosnian government, so your notion that ALL serbs in Bosnia don't want to live in Bosnia is false.

Similarly, if you apply your logic to any nation on the planet with a significant minority, then every nation should start giving their lands to those minorities. Won't happen.

I have no bone in this as it was long time ago.It ended in 1877 when the defeated Osman pasa surrendered his sword to colonel Cherchez.And that concluded our dealings with the Turks, all is well when it ends well.

Balkan in general was and still is as backward as it gets, its not ottomans fault, its the people that inhabit the lands...
