Anyways I am utterly disappointed at Indian courts to fail to come to a verdict about Modi's alleged participation in Gujurat Riot cases even after 10 years.

I dont like the UPA administration a bit. However i like the current Kerala congress led administration. How does that translate to you ?

Modi doesn't fit in the scheme of things of mainstream media & branded fake secularists. & they also know that in spite of constant attack for last ten years, modi still stood strong & continues to do so. This is what frustrates those so called liberals & drives them crazy.. people like Teesta Setalvad are the face of those frustration!! Then again as a classic say goes.. To further your point, it is because of media branding him the accuse of '02 riots people outside Gujarat came to know about his other side that of development, otherwise he would have been just another CM as Shivraj Singh Chauhan or Raman Singh.

Modi has been defamed ........ the perception you are carrying is influenced by the media controlled by the present government .....you cant prove someone guilty when he is not guilty

when you have economic figures / a 541 page report then why u need perception to judge some one

As I have through yours. So lets not get there.

My previous post was aimed at all those who would raise in arms against a [hypothetical] democratically elected leader of India. I dont care what their idealogy is. Maoists are doing the same. BUt I dont support them just because Congress is ruling. Move out of the narrow mindset.

As I said in post 24, there exists a section who will never vote for Modi because of their religion. I cant speak for them and my posts are not addressed to them. For them Modi is devil incarnate even if there isn;t a shred of proof supporting their willd allegations. My reasoning is not for them. I hope to speak for the other section of people who dont let idealogy come in the wake of voting. So if you come under the former category, excuse yourself. My posts are not for you.

The population outside of Gujarat are simply not willing to accept him or even willing to forgive him for this supposed role in the Gujarat riots. He needs to go out of his way to prove his worth and salvage his name.

No the accused need not prove his innocence. This is the basic problem with Modi haters. They let their hate come in between facts and cloud their judgement. It is the prosecution that must prove his crime.

on serious note.. with coalition politics in the fore.. there is less chance of Modi becoming PM. Not due to lack of calibre or that it to matters any coalition politicians personally, but votebank politics does count as most of NDA partners doesn't want to miss this secular bus either. But if Modi is promoted as the president of BJP, there is a remote chance that might uplift him to the job!!

After the National executive Meet here in Mumbai one can be sure of that Modi will be PM candidate from BJP.Becoming Prime Minister of the country depends on Poll results,BJP will have to make sure that they get well over 220 seats in next Lok sabha to Project their candidate.
