As for 5th Generation its a three decade cycle SO 99% OF the world will continue operating 4th generation fighters upto year 2040 minimum

Today in 2017 OUT OF 400 fighters in PAF over 250 are 2nd generation and early 3rd generation F7/mrage5 ie 65%

Today in 2017 OUT OF 650 fighters in IAF over 350 planes are 2nd or 3rd generation jaguars/mig21/mig27 ie 55%
