i was wondering if Hasan Nasrallah will become the next supreme leader in Iran

For me I think is not possible unless the make the supreme leader position separated from the political and military power in the country like the Poe in Rome or sayyid al sistani in Iraq which he doesn’t have any military and political power in Iraq but he have a religious power than can play an important rule in Iraq policy

Also under the Safavid shahs many powerful Shi’a cleriks were from Lebanon yet they held the religious power in the Safavid state

Keep wondering, let us when you have wondered to an answer.

depend to ask from whom????

supreme leader of Iran must be a Iranian, this is the low.
Well there is difference between the supreme leader which is political office just like North Korea and wali al faqih which is a religious position much like the pope

The thing here that ali Khamenei is political leader for Iran but a religious leader for Shias and shaism

Hassan Nasrollah is in no position to be a shia Guide.... he is not a high ranking cleric..... Sistani is one of the highest ranking clerics in islam, and unmatched in knowledge and authority, when he says something, people listen.

Khameni has nothing on these Maraje'. He is not a real Marja'. If one of the Maraje' tells Khameni to do something, he will oblige, because they are superior to him.

The office of the supreme leader is complicated.... It really doesn't have much to do with being a high ranking cleric at all. None of the Maraje' would ever agree to be the supreme leader, and they probably wont be good supreme leaders at any rate, as they are no political and economic experts.

If Khomaini's son, who wielded all the power did not become the supreme leader.... why does your penis look so small??

Sadly there are just too many rich and powerful Iranians like the Larijani's that would be against it! And Iranian secularist would of had a field day if a none Iranian was placed in the most powerful position in Iran and they would use him to rally Iranians against the government....

General Solaimani would also be a good leader for Iran but he would never be accept as a supreme leader due to a lack of a religious background!

The son of the current Supreme leader would also cause more trouble for everyone would claim that this is a dictatorship and a monarchy and a lot of Iranians will not accept that including a lot of the conservatives....

I honestly don't see many figures in Iran that can possibly fill that role but I would say the closest person to it is likely Sadegh Larijani (Head of Iran's judiciary) and I would prefer Hassan Nasrullah over him any day!

From my Pinot of view the supreme leader position should be political only white the wali al faqih should be a religious position just like the pope

Velayateh faqih is just an Arabic word for Supreme Leader.... Iran has an elected president and I agree the Supreme Leader Possession needs to be more international and global rather than restricted to Iran but that doesn't mean it can't be political and Hassan Nassrulah is most defiantly more of a political figure than a religious one and I do agree that like the Pope it SHOULD NOT be restricted to Iran and an Iranian leader for that only degrades the position to an Iranian Leadership position rather than a global Shia Leader. And yes Iran is the largest and most powerful Shia country in the world but that doesn't mean an Iranian would necessarily be the best man for the job.
But that said I do believe a Supreme leader position needs to also be political that can rally people together to join forces that also thinks, talks and acts on improving science and technology growth and education among Shiite countries and populations and lobbies for them and works to better improve the Economy, Education, Infrastructure, Military... of all Muslim countries and populations and works to improve the lives of all victims and those who are oppressed not just Muslims who talking against terrorism and radicalization.....
Which would be a step further than a Marja's that's strictly religious and restricted to Shiite teachings.

Also, today Iran's system is set up in a way so the Iranian President and the Military walks under the parameters set by Iran's Supreme leader. And unfortunately Iran's Republic and Iranian society have not matured enough to a point where a newly elected Iranian President with little experience could possibly be trusted to operate with free rain....
It's possible that some time in the future Iran's Supreme leader position could be replaced by an elected council made up of experienced leaders of all kind from military to civilian made up of officials that at the very least have had 8 years or more experience in a leadership position where they have oversite over the executive branch and where any major changes needs to also be approved by them but such a change would required Iran to make Major changes in it's political and military structure. And I believe that to be the most logical thing for Iran when Iran's current supreme leader passes and then a Yelayateh faqih position can be made that's separate and not restricted to Iran who can only advise Iranian leaders not dictate and set parameters for them....
