Maybe we should just train packs of wild animals to take out ISIS.

On Sunday, wild boars attacked some farmland in northern Iraq and reportedly killed three ISIS jihadists. The wild animals, known to inhabit Kirkuk in the al-Rashad region, went on a rampage and cut down three ISIS militants, a local news site reported.

Details on how exactly the militants died were unclear, but a local source claimed “Islamic State militants took revenge on the pigs that attacked the farmland.”

Since the rise of ISIS in the region, thousands of people have fled Kirkuk to refugee camps in the province and neighboring cities to avoid the group’s rule. Local authorities have called upon the government to liberate ISIS-held areas, but with the Iraqi government’s focus on retaking the group’s biggest stronghold in Iraq, Mosul, Kirkuk remains in ISIS’s hands.

ISIS members in the Kirkuk frequently execute civilians over accusations of supporting the Iraqi security forces or trying to escape the province to refugee camps.

that a sweet news hahaaha even haram swine dont love them

I don't know the authenticity of this news (it is highly doubtful to put it mildly) but if true, brilliant news.

However I am almost more surprised about the fact that Iraq supposedly has wild boars.

I have never encountered any wild boars (pigs are of course totally banned and I am not aware of pigs living/being common in Arabia pre-Islam in the wild - they were not eaten by Semites in general as they were considered as a unclean animal) but after a quick "investigation" there appears to be wild boars in KSA as well. More precisely in the northeastern parts of KSA (Hafar al-Batin) which, surprise, surprise, border Iraq. Animals as we know don't recognize land borders.

As claimed by Saudi Arabian hunters from the region:

Have you ever encountered wild boars in Iraq in person or heard about them?

Anyway this is a good video below, lol:

Do you have any sources bro? I am just curious personally as I have never encountered wild boars in the wild in the Arab world yet.

However if they are found in Southern Iraq they are also found in Northern KSA as stated by local Saudi Arabian hunters in that thread. I was just very surprised to hear about this as I did not expect it.

On the other hand not long ago (80-100 years ago) you had wild lions (the last wild lion was killed in 1923 in KSA), cheetahs and today you still have Arabian leopards, hyenas, wolfs etc. in the wild in KSA.

Sadly hunters killed/destroyed much of that wildlife.

Another famous and historic (with a historical importance) that has become extinct in Arabia/Iraq was the Arabian ostrich.

The last one died near Petra in 1966.

I don't but this talk is common among us.

Wild boar hunting is very common in Pakistan. A local variety of bull-terriers (called gultairs) is specifically bred for this purpose, as they threated and destroy crops.

The whole scene looks something like this
