Tell me, which country in the world does not project itself as a 'peaceful' country? Which country calls itself extremist and not moderate?

Tell me, of all the nations involved in wars throughout history, how many have admitted to human rights violations? Almost all modern day wars are fought on the pretext of defending human rights in some way or the other (if you include right to religion as a human right).

Don't blame India alone. Hamam mein sab nange hain. Keechad uchhlega to sab pe girega.

You know what.. I'm a little relieved on reading this news. I was expecting something worse in the cable leaks. Atleast, we are not accused of genocide and mass rapes, as has been propagated from our friends across the border.
Human rights is the first collateral damage in most anti-insurgency activities. Using 3rd degree methods is quite common to extract information from suspected militants or their sympathizers, especially in an under-developed country like India. Even US and NATO is not immune to this, as can be seen in the Gitmo activities.

Training Taliban is not a human rights violation. What happens in Gitmo, balochistan, kashmir, drone strikes etc are.

What happened in Gujarat where 600 muslims and 300 hindus died was not perpetrated by the state. Neither was Orissa. It's called communal violence. Get your facts straight before posting.

That is because these number is still small compared to the population of minorities living in the country .India has more than 150 million muslims and 25 million Christians. people from minority communities have been represented well in all fields in the country. But everyone cannot be satisfied or appeased and there is no need for it either.
