Why you should support China in one chart

Hong Kong is a different case cause in many international events Hong Kong is termed as a separate regionn, Main land China and Hong Kong have different systems. But who told you that you can't freely move to Beijiing? The truth is, as a Beijing native, it's very hard to meet another Beijing native in the city. Most peole living here are from other places. What do you think China builds high speed railway network for?

I used Hong Kong and Macau to illustrate the relationship between HK/Macau to China corresponding to the relationship between US overseas territories (or insulated area) like Puerto Rico, Guam, American Virgin Island, American Samoa to Mainland US. Where Mainlander Chinese cannot move to Hong Kong and Macau without Permit, Hong Kong and Macau resident also cannot move to Chinese without permit. On the other hand, US mainland citizens can move to Guam, Puerto, American Virgin Island and so on freely, and People of Guam, Puerto Rico and so on can also move to US freely without having to apply for any permit.

What I mean move, I mean Permanently move, not transit or visit or as a seasonal workers. China have 27 internal port of control that control, called 口岸, that is a limit and control the population flow within the country, 口岸 (or Port Authority) concept does not exist in most other country, except as a control point of International border.

And just because it have HSR does not mean you can freely move between "port" to "port" Beijing have a direct HSR line to Hong Kong, does that mean you don't need a permit to travel from Beijing to Hong Kong?

I never heard 口岸 is for domestic purpose, biggest joke I ever heard.

US standard is not international standard, situations in US and China are very different in this case. When Hong Kong first handed back to China there was a big income disparity between Hong Kong and Mainland China, that was not the case in US and her overseas territories. China solves issue on case by case basis to achieve the optimal results and unless the west, China rarely points fingers at other countries internal affairs so I don't understand what do you cry fould for? Imposing your ideas on other countries and peoples are exactly the thing you have been always doing.

Yes, It says 口岸 is for international transit, ports or airports. Ask any Chinese what 口岸 means. You are not trying to teach Chinese Chinese , are you?

When did I said US Standard is international standard? Different standard is the thesis of my post to begin with, You may not call it Human Right Violation in China does not mean it is not in any other country. As I said, freedom of movement is very valued in Western Society, let's not say US, how about Europe? I can move around in Europe if I am a holder of a EU passport, and no country can stop me from moving from 1 EU country to another EU country permanently.

I did not impose idea here, on the other hand, you are, you still think what work for China work for anywhere else.

6 word : 深圳二線口岸

EDIT:: Oh, Now they change it to 深圳二線關口

.
If you tell any Chinese that a Chinese city sets 口岸 to restrict Chinese people's migration, people will laugh their heads off, try it if you don't believe.

6 word : 深圳二線口岸
Yes, for internatioanl transit, meaning they are entitled to conduct international trade, what's wrong with it? You don't even know what 口岸 mean in Chinese , better change your Chinese flag to the one where you are really from.

Dictatorship is not an alternative model. Not a viable one.
For India, yes. Whatever China did can not be done in India. I agree.

First line is for international trade 2nd line is for internal control. If you look at the picture, that is not a port, that is a check point between Guandong and Shenzhen

Have you read the update of my post? It used to called 口岸, now called 關口/卡

When I was still living in Shenzhen, you need border permit to enter the checkpoint, that is not a police checkpoint like you saw in both end of tunnel, that is a proper border post, I remember my mother's brother need to drop us off there when we are visiting his village in Dongguan because he don't have a border permit when he drive us to Shenzhen and we need to take a taxi from that border checkpoint to Lo Wu.

EDIT:: Actually, never mind, the system is demolished in 2016

Do you understand what it say?

So you see, that's not 口岸, 口岸 is only for internatrional trade purpose, what you are talking about is check stations, they exist everywhere, even you take a subway in any Chinese city you have to go through them, they are for public securities.

And did you understand what this news said

PS. 二線 system is abolished in 2016 as per the article.

So you see, that's not 口岸, 口岸 is only for internatrional trade purpose, what you are talking about is check stations, they exist everywhere, even you take a subway in any Chinese city you have to go through them, they are for public securities.

umm, again, it used to be called 口岸 prior to 2014. Read the above Chinese article I quote, bear in mind I have not return to China since 2000

We are talking about now , right? I mentioned Hong Kong and Macaus are different already. But Mainland China.. You must be joking. That's why I suggest you change your flag, you can't speak as a Chinese with the fact never setting your foot in China for 20 years, and China ,during those 20 years , has changed completely to a new country.
