Why Pakistan Produces Jihadists

is it strange you have to use china flag to hide your face

well nothing new in the news world know about Pakistan but the question is what is solution of Pakistan problem

nope, i'm chinese. 我用中国国旗掩饰什么?我需要掩饰什么?难道你怀疑我是巴基斯坦人吗?咋不说我是印度人?你丫是不是喝神油喝疯了?唉,阿三的素质就这样嘛。

any doubts remaining?

i defended india on the indus river treaty btw.

don't resort to personal attacks. and don't bring death rates from earthquakes into this, i don't want to attack india on death rates anymore, the evidence is obvious when we compare chinese lifespan to indian.

"It's worth noting that even the terrorism that's often attributed to the war in Afghanistan tends to come out of Pakistan, to be planned by Pakistanis, to be funded from Pakistan or in some other way to be traced to Pakistan," said Zakaria. He added that Pakistan's connection with terrorist groups goes back decades and has often been encouraged by that nation's military for strategic reasons.

Thats so true !!

Everytime it is conected to pakistan in some or the other way. strange.:undecided:

Fareed Zakaria is filled with hate for Pakistan, he has produced reports that have been debunked by the Pakistani Ambassador to US himself. Then the reports mysteriously dissapeared.

And you know, who had asked for such kind of militant attacks to be carried out in enemy territory, CIA chief William Casey.

October 1984: CIA Director Secretly Visits Afghan Training Camps; He Urges Spread of Violence into Soviet Union

[Source: Associated Press]CIA Director William Casey makes a secret visit to Pakistan to plan a strategy to defeat Soviet forces in Afghanistan. Casey is flown to secret training camps near the Afghan border where he watches trainees fire weapons and make bombs. According to the Washington Post, “During the visit, Casey startled his Pakistani hosts by proposing that they take the Afghan war into enemy territory—into the Soviet Union itself. Casey wanted to ship subversive propaganda through Afghanistan to the Soviet Union’s predominantly Muslim southern republics.” The Pakistanis agree to the plan and soon the CIA begins sending subversive literature and thousands of Korans to Soviet republics such as Uzbekistan. Mohammad Yousaf, a Pakistani general who attended the meeting, will later say that Casey said, “We can do a lot of damage to the Soviet Union.” [Washington Post, 7/19/1992] This will eventually evolve into CIA and ISI sponsored Afghan attacks inside the Soviet Union (see 1984-March 1985 and 1985-1987).

Indians living abroad and here are happy and having a field day on this, a person like faisal shahzad who tried to commit a serious crime is being scapegoated to malign the whole country.

Lets see how this plays out.

Back to the topic. The facts are glaring at the Pakistani establishment's face. Will they make endeavours to completely overhaul the system or will the notion of "good and bad taliban" continue? Only time will tell

so funny naa you are smiling while your own terriost are destroying the all world and even your country

what will be future of Pakistan Allah know but not look good

Most if not all of the 9/11 hijackers were of Saudi National, did any quarters bring the Saudi Kingdom into question.
Hence no matter how much you milk this story, a solitary individual is not going to raise the stakes for Pakistan.
BTW, First of Four brand new F-16s are arriving from America next month to wipe off any drools.

T-Faz, whatever happens in Pakistan may not be an immediate but is surely an imminent danger to India too. That is why I state that these two countries can be each other best allies and they have to be because as hard as one may try, the other will not be the only sufferer. So at best, you could call those of us who are happy with the current situation in Pakistan as ignorant. Ours is a case of intertwined destinies.

On the face of it GPS contents could inflame normal Pakistanis but if you really analyze what he is saying above, is it much different than what you have elaborated as your thoughts over last days on this topic?

The Saudi Nationals weren't trained in Saudi Arabia. This particular guy arrested had been trained in Pak and its not the first time we're seeing something like this.

For your info, 9/11 was taken most seriously and two countries thought to be responsible have been destroyed to teach them a lesson.

Just pray someone from Pakistan doesn't repeat that mistake in the name of Allah. Islam is being twisted by everyone in Pakistan to serve their needs, not to mention their needs aren't peace or love.
Even Indian muslims have had to face problem due to Islam being twisted in Pak. Every muslim is now looked upon as a terrorist thanks to these mullahs and terrorist groups.

Today Pak is being called the epicenter of terror, if same continues to happen, someday Islam would be held responsible, no matter how peaceful a religion it is supposed to be. Nothing in the world is good or bad, it is us who make it so.

You come here with you hidden agendas of anti pakistan points in all stories. Perhaps you should concentrate on Yemen, Saudia, Sudan and other places where this is occuring at a fast rate too.

And Islam is not beig twisted by everyone in Pakistan, only a few people. Just wait and see how this plays out, the 911 terrorists were saudi and egyptians trained in germany and US. They had stop overs in Afghanistan, Pakistan and of course other places in the muslim world. Becuase the war in afghanistan is right next to us and the border is just an imaginary line, people move between it without any problems.

It is evident that such an incident will make a lot of people happy, similarly it will be used to justify any further attacks, media wise or not.

Perhaps it is time to end the WOT becuase it shows no sign of ending, and only USA can finish it by ending its occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Pakistan was made epi-center of terrorism by USA and other western nations during Soviet Invasion.

Jihad was launched by CIA and thousands of Jihadies were brought from all over Islamic Countries in Pak as base of operation.

Once Soviets withdrew - USA left Pakistan all the jihadis here in Pak.

Pakistan is fighting with all those misguided Jihadies now

If Pak is called epicenter of terrorism by CNN today - then it is the deeds of USA who made it like that.

There are no Dalits in Pakistan, that you trample all over them and then order them to wipe the blood off your shoes. People who matter are aware of the situation, like our FM, who disclosed that it's reaction to the American drone attacks, even the Americans can read between the lines, hence they are seeking Pakistan's assistance.
As for attitudes, i don't recall any one calling the culprit a sport.
One shouldn't mischief them self as tomorrow is an other day.

you are again off topic you have to read the title and stay on the topic if you have any thing to arguments

Talking about the Medical deaths in US U did not clarify the assumptions made by u. In US the medical ethics calls for very strict code of conduct. U can be sued even for the slight mistake as a doctor. It is very poor comparison u made out their with terrorism . The more deaths r due to the fact that more people r being treated. Maybe some US national can elaborate it more.
And more over they have the system of reporting every deaths accurately(atleast compared to other countries) unlike ours.

Yes you are correct.

1985-1986: CIA Becomes Unhappy with Afghan Fighters, Begins Supporting Islamist Volunteers from Other Countries
Edit event

The Central Intelligence Agency, which has been supporting indigenous Afghan groups fighting occupying Soviet forces, becomes unhappy with them due to infighting, and searches for alternative anti-Soviet allies. MSNBC will later comment: “[T]he CIA, concerned about the factionalism of Afghanistan made famous by Rudyard Kipling, found that Arab zealots who flocked to aid the Afghans were easier to ‘read’ than the rivalry-ridden natives. While the Arab volunteers might well prove troublesome later, the agency reasoned, they at least were one-dimensionally anti-Soviet for now. So [Osama] bin Laden, along with a small group of Islamic militants from Egypt, Pakistan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestinian refugee camps all over the Middle East, became the ‘reliable’ partners of the CIA in its war against Moscow.” The CIA does not usually deal with the Afghan Arabs directly, but through an intermediary, Pakistan’s ISI, which helps the Arabs through the Maktab al-Khidamat (MAK) run by Abdullah Azzam. [MSNBC, 8/24/1998] The agreement is sealed during a secret visit to Pakistan, where CIA Director William Casey commits the agency to support the ISI program of recruiting radical Muslims for the Afghan war from other Muslim countries around the world. In addition to the Gulf States, these include Turkey, the Philippines, and China. The ISI started their recruitment of radicals from other countries in 1982 (see 1982). This CIA cooperation is part of a joint CIA-ISI plan begun the year before to expand the “Jihad” beyond Afghanistan (see 1984-March 1985). [Rashid, 2001, pp. 128-129] Thousands of militant Arabs are trained under this program (see 1986-1992).

Coming to the sense after all. I agree with U on this.

Firstly no sane person approves of such dastardly acts and we outrightly condemn these individuals. But let me ask you, why is it that the Israeli Army at will can go into West Bank or Gaza, kill a dozen Palestinians including women and children and walk away under the guise of self defense, but when a hopeless and desperate Palestinian blows himself up in down town Tel Aviv, it's automatically labeled a terrorist attack. Going by the Indian media, until yesterday, Pakistan was a failed state, today it's the epicenter of terror, but then again, in the main stream media, it's also termed as front line state against WOT, for which Pakistan has made more sacrifices in both human and utilities, than the rest combined together, this is what counts and matters at the end of the day.
