Why Pakistan has the most feared nuclear weapons program in the world

Global Village Space |

One of the nine known states known to have nuclear weapons, Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal and doctrine are continually evolving. Pakistan aims to create a nuclear triad of its own, making its nuclear arsenal resilient and capable of devastating retaliatory strikes.

Due to its geographical position, Pakistan faces a variety of security issues.

Pakistan’s nuclear program goes back to the 1950s, during the early days of its rivalry with India. President Zulfikar Ali Bhutto famously said in 1965, “If India builds the bomb, we will eat grass or leaves, even go hungry, but we will get one of our own.”

After the country’s 1971, the program became a higher priority. Experts believe the loss of territory, much more than reports that India was pursuing nuclear weapons, accelerated the Pakistani nuclear program. India tested its first bomb, codenamed “Smiling Buddha,” in May 1974, putting the subcontinent on the road to nuclearization.

Pakistan initiated the process by accumulating the necessary fuel for nuclear weapons, enriched uranium and plutonium. Dr. A. Q. Khan pioneered the project when he returned from west to his home country in 1975 with centrifuge designs and business contacts necessary to begin the enrichment process. Pakistan’s program was initially assisted by European countries.

When Pakistan tested its weapon for the first time, Benazir Bhutto, Zulfikar Bhutto’s daughter, claimed that her father told her the first device was ready by 1977. A member of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission said design of the bomb was completed in 1978 and the bomb was “cold tested” in 1983.

When India tested six bombs in a span of three days, Pakistan conducted a similar rapid-fire testing schedule, setting off five bombs in a single day and a sixth bomb three days later.

Why Pakistan has the most feared nuclear weapons program in the world maybe they are afraid /some idiot may push the drama button of nuclear launch, thinking its tv button

The only nuclear power to have its territory bombed and cross border raided. And proudly claimed. Bollocks, most feared.

We literally bombed you 'cross-border' and paraded your commander on national tv. By your own admission, we raid and behead your soldiers too

Please, give it a rest

You are, and always will be, our humiliated inferiors. Stop piggybacking on U.S military's activities. You arent an American.

@GlobalVillageSpace

What a tactically devastating thread---? Have you no sense what to poste here---. Have you no sense that y ou never brag about your nuc strength or any other tactical strengths---.

From where do you kids learn these acts of stupidity to let your nation come to the lime light of notriety without any reason---.

Have you ever heard israel even talk about their nuc---or how many they hve---or far their delivery capabilities are---? Never---.

Then why do you have to brag about it---.

Are you so wrothless and weak that whenever you get something that makes you stronger---you have to show off in front of the world---.

This thread should be deleted---.
Nothing really new in the OP article.. there is much more on the net..

Bragging like this shows mostly someone looking for some sensations..in these boring lock down times..

By the way Usrael bragged about its nuclear program and weapons many times, like their ICBMs, their nuclear cruise missiles on their submarines and much more..even threatened to use its nuclear arsenal!? many times..

This world is still like a jungle ..where most animals will display their strengths to try scare their enemies.. only the self confident won't do that..

It is most feared because only nations who are crazy enough to use nuclear weapons in huge numbers after united states and russia and china is pakistan and perhaps israel when threatened with aggression.

We are among the most likely nations to nuke our adversary on battlefield even if it means mutually assured destruction.

With usa and russia they fear death and both stop at mutual death. They only fight to win and kill opposite side, while we the pakistaniz would gladly die while also mutually killing our adversary.

When threatened anyone would agree for it but a muslim and Pakistani would prefer it as we are a warrior nation and we are not afraid of death or what comes after it we prepare all our lives every moment for our death and when we see it we accept it with open arms.

That makes us most dangerous for those who love life of this world over what is real.

We simulate this often and are one of the few nations ready to nuke bigger adversary who we cant fight with conventional weapons.
Muslims won't accept that Pakistan sacrifice itself to Eliminate India and go down with it.. There are other means to contain India and prevent it from crossing the red lines.. nukes are the last resort if Pakistan's existence is threatened..but Muslims won't wait for that to happen even it takes hundreds of thousands of soldiers or even millions to balance the conventional war ..if that ever happen as a total war..

Your top nuclear scientist pledged his full support and credibility to the workings of a water powered car.

Hi,

Let you not be eternally stupid---. A simple google search would have showed results of 'water car' and how the idea is---.

Ever heard the name of Toyota Mirai---

Why Pakistan has the most feared nuclear weapons program in the world
im so sick of shit like this...
literally any of the other 9 countries can take out the pakistani army within months except north korea...
this fear you are giving people is not a fear of how good it is, but a fear of how react when a 5 year old is holding a loaded gun. nothing to be proud of.

i think because we are Muslim nation that might be reason otherwise russia has much lethal nukes and are much bigger threat to u.s and there is high chance u.s and their allies will be nuked by russia in final war

.
This ain't 1998 anymore we showed our capabilities to respond to a threat we are one of the few nations to have such deadly nukes but we should not become lazy unfortunately the nukes have made have made our countrymen feel relaxed from potential threats and that enemy is not a country but pure stagnation and corruption

Sir, there are big lies in the article. First of bhutto was not the president in 1965. He was only foreign minister in 1965 and gen ayub was the president. Ayub was against the nuclear arms. And bhutto took power in January 1972. And work on the nuclear arsenal started 1974 after the indian nuclear test code name smiling budha. But the on ground real progress was made in 1977 when the centrifugal method was adopted on the advice of Dr. A.Q khan.and first bomb grade uranium was ready in 1983. Cold test were conducted in 1986 with chinese help. Otherwise most work was done by the Pakistani scientists they acquired the machinery from European countries but the all works inside country was done by domestic people and institutions. Thanks

Hi,

To start work on the nuc arsenal---you have to have scientists who know how to build them---. They just did not pop out of nowhere to built the item---.

Someone had thought about that longtime ago---and had sent out MSc students to get their PhD's and work experience in nuc plant in the US canada UK france etc etc etc.

That process would have started about a decade at least before Bhutto started his 'initiative'.

No no no. You are forgetting a nuclear country whose forces are occupying a geographic area by force. The biggest occupying force in the world. When they had their arses kicked by rag tag Freedom Fighters, it accuses his powerful nuclear neighbour of interference.

Then get their arses kicked even more harder.

Where goons running in the streets with sticks and swords, catch single individuals and beat them on the basis of their numbers superiority in a given situation. Where Naxalites running separatist movements in 16 of its States.
Whose "SupaPowa" status is displayed on its pavements, railway tracks, rivers banks etc by its citizens delivering powerful nuclear bombs of filth on daily basis.

My dear sir,
I respect and value your contributions on this forum. You are a true patriot.
However - there is a difference between cars that run on Hydrogen (H) vs Water (H20).
The process of extracting hydrogen from water requires energy X which is more energy than the Hydrogen (H) which is used to power the car. This is the fundamental flaw that was pointed out by many good scientists in and outside Pakistan and hotly debated even on this forum.

To put it simply - Yes, you can have Hydrogen-powered cars but they are very expensive and not feasible to operate unless mass produced along with mass producing Hydrogen to provide fuel to these Hydrogen cars. Electricity is more easily available and cheaper to implement, which is why Tesla has become so massively popular and governments all over the world are shifting towards battery-powered electric cars.

It is possible that 20-30 years into the future our great scientists will solve to problem of generating hydrogen cheaply as well as making its distribution widely available, and we may see Hydrogen powered machines widely used. However, a random self taught man creating a car that runs "only on water" is nothing more than a wet dream that is scientifically impossible and someone of such high caliber, the founder of a nuclear program - giving his credibility to such a man is very disappointing and an insult to science as well as real scientists who research day and night for the progress of mankind.

This specific inventor has since then been realized as a fraud and disappeared from news.

More water cars incidents.

If someone can really make a "Water car" work without any additional energy, and the cost of operating such a vehicle is cheaper than a petrol powered vehicle, then nobody on this Earth can stop him from becoming a massively successful billionaire and completely revolutionizing transportation as we know it.

Doubt them so you can sleep at night..

Idiots might think like that.. because they are idiots..
200 millions in pakistan, idiots,
the rest 20 millions, elite , genius.hahha
