Nasr is a high precision, shoot and scoot Weapon System with the ability of in-flight maneuverability. This weapon system has augmented Full Spectrum Deterrence posture remaining within the precincts of policy of Credible Minimum Deterrence, against prevailing and evolving threat spectrum more effectively including enemy’s ballistic missile defense and other Air Defence Systems.

We have seen a rather peculiar trend since 2017. Whereas India has been continuously testing 5000km range ballistic missile which it can launch at us from the depths of the ocean, Pakistan has been limited to testing Nasr. There was the rare test of liquid fueled missile, but other than that, things have been quiet.

I interpret this as a meekness on the part of Pakistan in the face of continued Indian aggression. The image projected by Pakistan is that of a reactive posture aimed at defending against Indian aggression within limited parameters. On the other hand, Indian belligerence is threatening all of Pakistan with S-400, K-5, Rafale as just some notable examples.

This remains a question to our leaders why a firm response has been lacking on our part? If this involves meddling by Nawaz government, then it should be made clear, so the perpetrators can be judged in the court of public opinion.

International pressure ..we can not afford to test long range missiles and purchase high end systems and than go ask countries to invest in our economy , let the economy be fixed and so the armed forces will have more funds for purchase and R&D .

Is this your own opinion or facts learned from reliable sources?

We should have kept giving weapons provocative names. It's not like we've ran out of heroes to name our missiles after.

Budshikan, Alamgir, Aibak, Timur, Lodi, Suri, etc. There are plenty of Muslim rulers to name our weapons after.

that's why dictators are preferred.Majority of Pakistani missile arsenal came into existence in General Pervez Musharraf era.
is that true that we have signed some sort of agreement with USA under obama administration that we will not make missiles with enough range to reach US?I heard this news in the past.

It is certainly true in practice, and a very logical decision. No need to antagonize the entire world.
