Why my family in the US wants to return to Pakistan

.
Come to think of it, a nice little house in Bahria Town Lahore would serve nicely as a part-time residence, before retirement. Having an income source from abroad to insulate against PKR depreciation, and everything can be set up very well. Best of both worlds! :D

.
yeah house car bank balance, degree, big job, plus land back home.

lolz plus some pak girls are too materialistic money grabers and divorce you and get half your wealth.
plus the dumb b.... are too much drama. they seem to like having competition.
Yeah bro, and that's why nobody marries them and they end up being single for the rest of their lives and then they complain why no Muslim man wants to marry them

On a different note, it is impossible for expat pakistanis to return home, even if they wish to. They are well & comfortably adjusted to the modern west and its a nightmre situation for their children and families to return and adjust. Unfortunately Its a case closed for them.

All the Pakistanis I work with have zero interest in moving back to Pakistan for pretty much the reasons you just listed. Plus they as Muslims say witnessing the daily corruption of brother against brother was appalling. They feel sad they have to be in a land of non-believers to get away from it.

And growing Alhamdulilah!

There is a quite a debate about it , whether it is increase in existing muslim population (meaning increasing family) or more converts.

man ur really creative:lol:
So have they left yet? They are free to leave anytime they want. :D
Ever wondered by desis are labelled as all talk and no action, who gets no respect. Neither they can think in a rational manner without emotion nor they can keep their mouth shut.

More the former than latter.

Most muslim hearth countries are still quite early in the demographic transition.

A few (like Turkey, Indonesia) have progressed to having lower fertility rates (close to replacement levels)...but majority are in stage 2 (high birth rates, low death rates)....compared to the world at large (when done by religious basis).

From what I have seen the number of people converting to islam where muslims migrate to is very low and about at par for other religion - religion conversions (including those from islam to effectively something else).

Who labels desis as that? A bit emotional perhaps, but when it comes down to doing something, desis are as productive as anyone else.

Why feel sad when the land of non-believers is actually closer to the ideals of Islam than what they left behind? Rejoice! :D

Kinda of slow, missed the Anti-Trump train. Plus if you're going to leave a country just because an election went sour and you can't wait four years for the next one, then you never cared about democracy. Its no different than the sorry pathetic Republicans who threatened to move to Canada when Obama was first elected, and the Democrats who later copied etc.

They can return to their nation ruled by a corrupt Western Lackey, Paradise called Pakistan. :o: Was that too much, I'm sorry, wasn't educated by British butterballs...
Janbaaz is a ahmedi. Don't thank his post.

I removed the "thank"
It's Ok to hate in Pakistan, two peas in a pod. ^^^

Lol! Well I guess they'd prefer being surrounded by non-Pakistanis. But old feelings are hard to break. Ask most what they think of the Indians they work with and they will reply "They should all be killed". Of course then I ask the Indians about the Pakistanis and they too reply "They should all be killed".

You guys really really really have it out for each other.

No Sir. Some of us have been able to evolve beyond such primeval mentalities.

LOL my best buddies are often Pakistani (in all stages of my life, I have lived outside India for a long time now)...its a complicated situation once you take brown people out of their hearth zone and put them in a situation where they are minority.

Even the most anti-India pakistanis that present themselves, I can generally find pleasantries and topics of conversation to smooth out the situation.

Honestly this is all why I even bother in this forum in the first place...there is often a mirror behind the veil :P

I know it is shocking. Glad i don't live in USA. Ha!

I know it is very testing time for the American Muslims at this moment. And for the future, it is looking very unpredictable scary at times.

As for Indians with already excuses already, it is no wonder why Indians have been historically colonized very easily. They are already in part of the effects as the article points out.

Wants to, but won't.
If you are a Muslim then you should ask why are you living in the most un-Islamic country in the world. Every haram is halal in Amreeka.
This is typical Dawn article. Lot of huff and puff with little attachment to reality. Head floating in the cloud and ignoring the what the feet are standing on.

Hillary Clinton. She has the blood of the dead in Syria, Libya on her hands. Bush before her has the destruction of Iraq and death of over half a million on his hands. Trump. Yeh he is all those things but I kind of like him now - you see more of what he really is then rest of his ilk like Obama et al.

We are only productive in an institution / country established by some one else. Can we ourselves create one ? even if so very few.
