You are trying to steer the topic from Beef eating towards Meat consumption. The topic here is about "Beef is prohibited for Hindus and Cow slaughter is Prohibited and abhorred in Hinduism".Arreyyy its not about our texts and scriptures, its about common sense. Ever since the caste system was introduced some sections of the Hindus (like kashtriyas) were free to consume meat as they needed more calories for carrying out strenuous work. Infact kashmiri pandits, maithilis and south kanara brahmans 're all heavy meat eaters. (This must be the 6th or 7th time I'm posting this fact on this thread).
Can you expect a pure vegetarian to survive in the harsh winters of Russia??
1) In harsh winters meat is prolly the only food you'll find.
2) Meat is needed in harsh climates as it helps the body in producing more heat.
But again, if you're talking about strenuous work you'll need more protein and ergo more meat.
