The Americans and allies are acting intelligently as on one side they have persuaded Taliban to keep some sort of military presence in Afghanistan as well as they are able to get major restoration projects and mining projects in the country, even civil security contractors are also there creating thousands of jobs for their own people along with financial benefits. The USA in most of cases remains in win win situation.

Sorry mate, but I dont agree with notion that very thing is hunky dory, US remains in win win situation. If US is winning this Afgan war than why would they want to dialogue with their nemesis (Taliban)? Also, if things are under control than why many areas in Afganistan are under Taliban's control? More to the point, why Taliban are attacking more and more and inflicting sever damage to US and their allies? Why they're able to attack in Kabul, which is the hub?

Dude, there are so many question marks. Just checkout the Trump's tone, which has take 180 swing from "We can crush Taliban, bomb Afghanistan and win this war in X-number of days" TO "For how many decades they (Taliban) wants to fight?" as per his last tweet yesterday.
