Shalwar Kameez isn't inferior but 'other' dress is in competition and has history of success and patent inventions on its chest, making it acceptance of the fittest. Shalwar Kameez is decent and comfortable but it also has limitations like while operating a machinery you can't wear it. Besides that you've long way to prove value of this dress.

It is because of multiple reasons.
1. Banned outfits have made it their brand.
2. کوا چلا ھنس کی چلا اپنی بھی بھول گیا
3۔ گھڑے سے نکال کے پہننے والوں نے بے قدر کر دیا۔
If worn and carried properly, Shalwar Kameez is a great dress.

OP your question reeks of ignorance. All the wealthiest people in Pakistan wear shalwar qameez. Here I am talking about the big landowners in Pakistan. They not only wear this dress within Pakistan but abroad as well. The urban salaryman is not the only sample for social questions. The salaryman can't even dream of the respect and reverence these big landowners get.

HI,

The name ' national dress ' was a useless creation---the idea behind it was identity---a seperation from the neighbor.

Other than that---it is a wasteful dress---it is not a smart working dress---.

The dress identifies the leisurely lifestyle and mindset of the public and nation.

The worst part of it is the Shalwar---which does not give you any control over which way your physique is headed.

This dress should have been kept outside of the work---school and industrial environment. No place for it in the military either.
