Why is there so much hatred for India in Pakistan?

Reason why Pakistan hates Israel is because of the recent attacks on Palestinians, Mossad operations against Pakistan, the fact that they tried bombing our nuclear reactors and also we were engaged in an air war against Israel in which we shot down 11 Israeli jets. But the biggest reason is the death toll of muslims in Gaza and Palestine.

This is a general question haunting me ever since I visited my country of birth after residing 15 years here in Norway. Every other person I meet on the street, in restaurants and conferences accuse India for plotting conspiracies against Pakistan for reasons that are not very clever. They blame India for Pakistan's dire economic state, security situation and our nation's bad reputation internationally.
It seem outrageous to blame your (enemy) neighbor for your own collective shortcomings. But when you see things with open mind, it becomes clear that future of the nation is in our own hands and not in our neighbors', so why blame them for almost everything bad and ugly in Pakistan?

That's because Pakistanis are too preoccupied with Indians and vice versa. By the way, the blame game is not only something that Pakistanis resort to. It would be unfair to solely blame Pakistanis for this behaviour. Just look at the forum members from various countries on this forum as an example. It's part and parcel of human nature to blame someone else for their own shortcomings and failures. Although, Pakistanis and Indians have made a sport of blaming each other. This generally also stems from the fact that both nations haven't accepted each other after the partition. These nations are still stuck in the pre-partition era even though boundaries are a reality. Additionally, the Kashmir conflict is a major source of tension. Notice the hostility and enmity on this forum regarding this conflict. Conflicts are always a great fuel for hate and conjure. They need to be resolved so that people can move on and accept the realities.

Israel is an entirely different matter. Although, most Pakistanis relate to Palestinian suffering due to the religious bond. Also, let's not deny Israel's close involvement with India. This relationship brings up many question marks in the minds of ordinary Pakistanis and I don't blame them. The Israeli army is very actively cooperating with the Indian army. Israel delivers arms to India and their anti-Pakistan stance is well-known. Hence, a lot of confusion and questions in the mind of Pakistani people.

You're right about one thing though. The future of our nation is in our own hands. As a nation, we have miserably failed to live up to expectation.

We had to fight the enemies in the high peaks from down remember.. and till we managed to kill many Pakistan Soilders and capture the peaks, we won the war both poetically and Militarily.. go and sing your song to some other people.

Always remember... who is the tough guy.... in 99 we fought to from below the mountain and successfully captured the peaks and mountains.. but in siachin even your special forces so called SSG couln't even capture a single peak fighting us from below the passes...

Haha the SSG arent even active in the Siachen.

You have to remember that Pakistan was supposed to get 15% of the British equipment , and they didnt even get a fraction of that. Pakistan's military started out with nothing, you guys got handed over British Equipment and you also inherited several military factories. The Raja wanted to equalize the Majority-Minority gap between Muslims and Hindus/Sikhs, so he wouldn't have to worry about any future rebellions; he forced out many Muslims out of Kashmir the Kashmiri Security forces who were majority Hindu also committed cruel atrocities against Muslims. This resulted in a revolt in which Pakistan supported, many 'Mujaheddin' entered from Pakistan(Similar to Chechnya) and fought for liberation, the Kashmiri Security forces were quickly overran and the Raja asked for support from the Indians. The Indians said that they would only intervene if Kashmir would be seceded to them, the Raja agreed. Indian troops were airlifted and took up defensive positions near the Kashmiri-Pak border. Pakistan invaded Kashmir saying it was a Muslim majority province, and stole a chunk from Kashmir known today as Azad Kashmir even though the Pakistani army was ill-equipped and untrained. My Grand Father's brother popped 2 Grenades and layed beneath an Indian tank, taking the tank the down but dying in the process, thats how ill-equipped the army was.

Oh and your silly reply about 65 war? Just admit you guys got your *** kicked. I mean come one? 19 PAF planes shot down, compared to 104 IAF planes being shot down? That's more humiliating than that time when we shot down 11 Israeli jets without losing one of our own. Not to mention one of our Pilots MM Alam made a record by shooting down 6 Indian jets within a minute. Your commanding officers told your soldiers during the offensive on Lahore that they will "drink tea in lahore". As soon as they went in, they came running back out. So much for drinking tea in Lahore.

Bout 71? We admit we lost, whether with your support or not Bangladesh would have split anyway. We were 2 different people with 2 different cultures and languages. Not to mention we were very long away from each other. The general in charge of the defense also saw this and surrendered. It wasnt worth it to fight and oppress people.

Kargil war, how are you guys supposed to defeat us when you let a couple of villagers with AK's reach all the way to Kargil; even though Kashmir is the most militarized zone in the world. It just shows how the Indian army is so pathetic.
