Moments later, he shot down one of the two escaping Vatour bombers. Two days earlier he had shot down an Israeli Super Mystere over Mafrak Air Base, Jordan. The officer was decorated with gallantry awards after the war both by Jordan and Iraq. He had already earned Sitara-i-Jurat during the 65 war when he shot down an Indian Gnat.

It was not official and even not the government officially declares it. Those pilots were joined the war from arabs as volunteers and PAF and GOP even took written affidavit that in case of shot down and captured. Pakistani govt. and PAF take no responsibility and even deny them as citizen of Pakistan. So those are volunteers not officially sent by GOP of PAF.
These things revealed after a long time period even PAF not acknowledged these victories officially even till today.
