'Why is he sporting an Ertugrul beard?': PM Modi's new look gets epic reactions on Twitter

Lord Shivaji is still alive and lives in the mountains of Kailash, the reason Hindus perform the Kailash Yatra, I think.

Isn't it in the lower Tibet, the Kailash mountains where Shivaji lives in caves there, according to the belief system of Hindus??

And he is above and beyond other Lords/Ram's...

lord shiva is considerd destroyer pf evils , brahma is beginer or creater of everything , lord vishnu is palanhar or giver of things to survive .
this is trimurti
brahma vishnu and mahesh , mahesh is shiva .

I am fairly ignorant to how much authenticity of this stuff is done in North India and rest of India at large.

In North India, it is generally based on the Bhrigu Samhita. If things go wrong (I have a horrible example in my own family), the pundit will blame it on not having been given the exact time of birth; according to their method, it has to be very, very accurate.

I can help @ps3linux , if you have queries about naadi astrology. Yes it uses palm leaves, in fact I have been couple times to the temple which is somewhat of the heritage point (in modern times) for this astrology....but in my case for more conventional purpose...and also general prayer for good health (its a healing/health focused temple).

I personally don't believe in it (astrology) much and overall I am fairly ignorant of the astrology realm itself in my culture (past knowing of the broad contours and also basic planetary/solar astrology)....but my dad (and mom to some degree) is quite a huge believer and very well versed in it (his big disappointment in me is I never picked up this interest and belief). I would say my genetic disposition in my family for astrology has transmuted inside me to a keen undying interest in astronomy.

I can pass on questions if you have.... a lot (on finding your fortune through naadi leaf if it exists) is basically based on horoscope information and then stuff like palmistry if I remember correctly.

I am fairly ignorant to how much authenticity of this stuff is done in North India and rest of India at large...I have just heard some astrologers there also know of it and if well-meaning (imo) generally at some point will direct you to TN astrologer core at the temple I speak of (Vaitheeswaran), or some of their direct offshoots....as this is basically where the biggest repository of naadi leaves actually are....which is long drawn out story on its own.

There are a few buddhist astrologers that work a similar way iirc, when I saw a documentary on Tibetan buddhism one time.

Thanks. During my childhood days I had a definite limit to my pocket money, but when it came to books there was no limit to how much I could purchase provided I read all of them before going for the next purchase, so fiction (English) became my pastime and then somehow I developed an interest in astrology I read almost every available book and then some on astrology, concluded that vedic astrology is the best one compared to mundane or Chinese version or for that matter one very old Arab version because it was only the former which is based upon expanding universe, for all of the others they have not factored in expanding universe. I combined it with numerology (most favorite and authentic is Prof Ravindra Kumar) and palmistry (its a gift didn't need any book or teacher for that). Before I completed college I had become well known in the circles (of course the girls as well) but then one day after a tragic personal forecast came true, I left it all and never ever looked at it again. I still have the knowledge but I don't practice/calculate anything now.

Nutshell I know about all three sciences, but my interest in Naadi those palm scripts which have been kept secret containing knowledge on coming of Kalki, is only for the academic purpose and that have any of you ever heard about Naadian being kept secret about for millenias.

@Joe Shearer Thanks sir, BTW still trying to locate the book, as offices are going to resume business w.e.f 17th August hopefully my people in karachi will be able to locate the publisher and lets see.

Yes this is a long story, I will get back to it hopefully. Lot has to do with how palm leaf manuscripts themselves originated...and then were lost/forgotten and discovered/recovered in phases over time.

There is lot of ancient Tamil literature on this subject alone in our great devotional poems governing the re-founding of temples and such in the ancient period...given the wax and wane of Saivite ideology w.r.t jain and buddhist.

I will have to clear up a few things with my father first on the astrology side of this specifically though...w.r.t what you speak of Kalki esp. I know more from the devotional and larger cultural influence side only.

If not, and subject to restrictions on local travel, Shantiveer Kaul may still be able to help.

Yeah, even if I choose to get stars and stripes passport or one with maple leaf I will still have the same problem so, not all wishes come true.

I was referring to the lockdown in Delhi, that stopped him from going to the publishing house and picking up a copy. At the time I asked, things were still buttoned down tight.

Apologies for being presumptuous sir. o_O

Modi is a perfect example of a wannabe.

But I’m all seriousness, it’s their raw, that’s dressing him up telling him what to speak how to speak n all that. He’s just a dumb puppet with a background of a genocide.
