Why is gang rape, rape and sexual assault so rampant in India?

Indians are disgusting, instead of making excuse and trying to protect rapist they should do something to stop rape and sexual harassment and infanticide.

The sad thing is India does not even have laws for marital rape then we get Indian men in politics, police etc marching in support of rape.

Indian men are animals the society is morally corrupt and they aren't even willing to change.

• 19% of women and 8% of men have experienced an episode of stalking during their lifetime (Australian Bureau of Statistics - Emotional Abuse, 2014)
• An estimated 27% of children who are in homes where violence was being experienced by a current partner had witnessed the violence (Australian Bureau of Statistics - Personal Safety Survey, 2006)
