One of the reason that I wanted to mention besides weakness of Syria, Egypt and Syria that pave the path for Saudis was the new policy adopted by the US in the region by Obama administration ... they don't involve themselves in the regional disputes directly as they've done it before at least for the last 40 years but still masterminding it and control it ... the reason is the USA can not afford another war like Iraq and Afghanistan .. therefore they use some countries in the region as pawn ... this policy has created a feeling amongst Saudi policy makers that the USA has left them on their own , no more protection umbrella for them which means another form of power vacuum ...for example Erdogan has been demanding no fly zone of American in Syria for years , Joe Biden told them why don't you do that by yourself?
So the only difference over here is the USA seeks its interests as it used to but this time at the expense of these countries and meanwhile it saves it face .. it's not the US that being condemned in the UNSC for killing children in Yemen anymore but Saudis but we all know that all Saudi military operations in Yemen are done by American green light ...

That's why in my first post in this thread I said we need to see who's gonna be next president in the USA ... Saudi Arabia is waiting for that 'cause it could change current policy .
