The number of growth rate is not that important.
It is the actual growth based on the size of your baseline.
Even China grows at 5%, She still adds an entire indian economy every 4 years.
Top two Chinese provinces combined have a bigger GDP than india's, and growing faster than 8%!
I am pretty sure they will reach 3 trillion way earlier than india.
In this sense, the distance is actually getting bigger and bigger.....
