Today there is some issue on beef. But a muslim can preach islam in india.
Can a hindu preach and convert muslims back to hinduism in Pak.

No one wants to convert to Hinduism. It's an archaic religion that has one of the worst practices in human history, the cast system. It also is causing people to kill others for a silly animal.

If you look at conversion rates around the world, most people are converting to Christianity and Islam. Hardly anyone is converting to Hinduism. Things are not as dire as most of the Pakistani members here seem to believe, not to imply that they are completely rosy either.

Fault lines exist and Islamophobia is on the rise but for every news article there are numerous unaccounted ones where saner minds prevailed and matters were settled amicably. These type of stories typically don't make it into the media.

Those of the posters here advocating violence are either ignorant of ground realities or simply biased.

The reason Indian Muslims do not take up arms despite the hatred, polarization and local incidences of violence is that the social fabric is still intact (communal harmony) and the law enforcement still does a fairly good job. You really have to live it to experience it.

Only the nutcases seem to be catching headlines. There is a growing realisation (not by majority but we are getting there) among Muslims in India that education, job specific skills training, and integration are what's going to contribute to upward mobility, not violence.

I've noticed when people of different religions leave India/pakistan/bangladesh, hindus are the group which are most likely to lose their religion. They certainly are not the best way for anything religious.

Some guy made up sikhism about 500 years and even his man made up religion produces people who are of stronger faith (in their own religion) in comparison to how strong the faith of hindus is.

Well you can quote these instances on your fingers. And if you want to have aserious discussion - these are like vents to release the pressures from faultlines. Thise incidents did not happen out og the blue when hindus randomly attacked.
Yes there still aee intolerant people, and i would say its growing but its still a minority compared to other nations. At this point if Hindus are not constantly attacked they are usually ok.

I agree it is not productive to talk about intra-religious matter as people always get wound up. There are many Hindutva type on social media spreading nonsense about Islam and that is why you see these hate crimes soaring in India, but it is not needed to mock Hindus back in return, it will only make matters worse for the innocent bystanders who are getting attacked.
