Once his tanks move in Donbass, it will be called an invasion whether he just intended to protect Donbass or not since no other country has recognized the independence of Donbass yet. Therefore, why not play it like a real invasion to the best advantages for yourself?

Well, to be honest, its natural. Big powers have always bullied/intervened in small/weaker powers affairs. Ukraine can only blame themselves for being weak. If Ukraine was a strong powerful country then Putin won't even think of invading them NO MATTER WHAT THEY DID, in fact war won'teven be an option for Putinif that was the case. when you are weak, of course stronger powers have leverage over you and they can force their ways unto you. What are you going to do about it? Lol especially when the big power realises that they can get away with it and suffer little to no consequences on their territory/life.

In fact thinking of invading North Korea today isn't even on the table anymore, mostly due to their military strength and ability to also inflict much damage to the adversary. Ukraine should have armed themselves to a war footing from the beginning like North Korea, especially knowing Russian designs on their country(which they now consider a historical Russian country) for so long. Lol Only military strength and determination can deter such a histirical belligerent/expansionist neighbour.
