What's new

Why has Pakistan not tested a ICBM yet?

Do they pose a serious threat to our mainland security? Do they pose a nuclear threat to our country?
Don’t forget the counties that have been caught meddling in local affairs and imposed sanctions on Pakistan.

.
Every component of an ICBM can be verified by hot and cold testing. Maintain the capability, and it should be enough. Those who should know, already know, so deterrence is in place.

That is good to know. So we have the capability. Good if it's tested the way you have told then good don't reveal. But we should have that capability. Showing it or not is later thing.

Also good to see you getting more and more active on the forum again. Really miss you and @SQ8. You guys need to be more active here.

I think everyone here knows that Pakistan has the capability to build a ICBM missile. Why has Pakistan not tested one yet? Are there poltical reasons? Maybe international sanctions? Building a MIRV is way way complicated than ICBM. So there is no reason to doubt that Pakistan does not have ICBM technology. Even North Korea has two operational ICBMs. The Hwasong-14 with 10,000 km range and Hwasong-15 with 13,000 km. Pakistan can easily test a 10,000 km ICBM.

P.S. I may have said something wrong. If you see a mistake correct me. I am new here.
Chal paghlay, mermaeyga kia....
The day Europe and USA felt threatened from our program will be the day that capability will be snatched away from us.

So by your logic we should point ICBMs at those countries and threaten them to stop meddling in our affairs so that the whole world wound sanction us, rather than exposing them diplomatically?

I’m trying to say don’t be naive to think Pakistan will never need ICBMs.

Thinking about this further I wish Pakistan would further investment in space launching capabilities for satellites and humans. This is an area for which Pakistan already has a need atleast in the realm of satellites. ICBMs can come after....

edit: you don’t point ICBMs at a country they literally face the sky vertically, but it sends a message to the world you’re not to be messed with. France even has one. Who the hell does France need to send ICBM to?

As far as ICBM capability is concerned I firmly believe that we have the capability to do anything. Only thing that stops us is the time. We will show it to the world when the need arise. You don't need to worry about any enemy.

Why would Pakistan need ICMBs when it's principle enemy is bordering it (India)

Both ICBMs, and MIRVs are sixties, and seventies technology. There is completely no reason even a nation with industrial capacity of North Korea can't do it.

If you look closely, while NK is terribly poor, way, way poorer than Pakistan, it has industrial complex not many 3rd world nations around have.

Black metallurgy — check
Non-ferrous metallurgy — check
Inorganic chemicals — check
Petrochemicals — check
Heavy machinery — check
Plant equipment — check
Metalworking — check
Electrical equipment — check

And everything else, Kim can smuggle, or ask papa Xi.

It needs it to turn Pakistani elections from Pakistani problem, to a global, or best to say American problem.

Beijing officially wants to keep NSG as it is, but I believe will be just exuberant at the news of America getting one more headache, and an insurance for the case Washington thinks that Beijing is not too big to swallow.

Hahaha Diplomaticallyyy. Oh bhai jis ki Laathi us ki Bhains wala hisaab kitaab hai is duniya mein.

Bhai is this a serious question? Look at the USA did to Pakistan ever since the war on terror. A superpower threatened to bomb your country into the stone age. Pakistan needs a much higher level of deterrence.

Bro the only way to show the world that we have the capability is to test one. Why this double standard when it comes to certain nations demonstrating ICBM capability.

Why are USA, UK and France allowed to have and test ICBM whenever they want without fear of sanctions? Nobody condems them?

Sorry but I cant accept this disgusting and double standard treatment. The rules should be the same for everyone.

I agree with you. Pakistan should test an ICBM. Are ICBMs just for NonMuslims?

As if UK, and other European countries are Pakistan's allies? :disagree:

Those European countries are only allies of convenience to Pakistan.

Pakistan should. We need to improve our economy.

Thank you brother.

I am tired of double standard and hypocrisy. We have every single right to test a ICBM with whatever range we want. Israel has ICBM in the 10k+ range. Dont see anybody speaking against them.

At the end of the day it is not our kind going around invading and destroying ENTIRE nations in the name of democracy.

Pakistan should. We need to improve our economy.
I agree we should improve our economy. Our first goal should be to rebase our economy. So we can find the true size of our economy.

Yes the Economy and education should be priority.

Our Economy is barely $300 billion dollars Nominal GDP wise.

Pakistan has a lot of potential. Especially the Textiles and Carpet industry.
We should be doing better than Iran in the carpet industry.

Pakistani Bukhara carpets are world renown.
