Why Gulf countries cannot accept migrants

The GCC have an obligation to take in their fellow Muslims. Anyone who says otherwise, especially in the GCC, is probably an ultra nationalistic idiot.

That being said, other countries have an obligation to take in refugees. The people who extended the war by saving Assad in 2012 (Iran, China, Russia, DPRK) all have an obligation to take in refugees. Now in all honesty, no Syrians would want to go to the shitholes called Iran, China, Russia, & DPRK, but at least those countries should have had the decency to at least show interest in taking in refugees or donating money to refugees. But none did that. 0$ have been donated by countries that support Assad to refugees.
Meanwhile, the GCC, who still have an obligation to take in refugees, have donated millions, if not billions. Qatar IIRC pledged and insane amount of money to rebuild Syria after it's freed. At least they show some decency in pledging money for refugees now and for Syria after the revolution is over. But countries that support Assad haven't taken on such an initiative.
Why?
Because Assad is the whole reason they left:
Syrian refugees protest against Assad regime and criticise Russia - YouTube
Hundreds of Syrian refugees protest Assad's speech - YouTube
Jordan's Syrian Refugees Await Assad's Fall - YouTube
Syria refugees want Assad to suffer - YouTube
And here Pro-Assad Turks are discriminating against refugees, further reinforcing the fact that Assad is the reason for the refugees being refugees:
Turkey: Syrian refugees, welcomed by Erdoğan, meet the discrimination of pro-Assad Turks - YouTube

Refugees must be helped. But the root of the problem must also be removed. Assad and his regime need to be removed with an elected government put in place by the Syrian people, not by the US, not by Iran, not by Russia, but by the Syrian people.

The crisis in Syria was well into makjng life hell for Syrians before Iran or Russia did anything. Russia and Iran were urging talks while Turkey and Qatar were pouring in money and arms to every thug they could find and said they weren't interested in talks. Any smart political analyst can guess why. They had just disposed of Ghadaffi and brought their islamist thugs to power and the muslim brother hood in Egypt had succeeded with Morsi so they were high on their power.

But nothing went to their plan. Libya becane worse after ghadaffi, morsi was imprisoned and muslim brotherhoods killed.

How could this crisis have been averted? Easy. Turkey and Qatar stayed out of it, or if they wanted to get involved, they could have pushed for talks with Assad to bring about reforms.

Also, don't be a child. Don't call my country a shithole. Enjoy your adapted country and be safe, no need to insult a country that has 80 million people living in it.

.
They are selfish racists who have no humanity. They sponsor terrorists and extremists e.g. ISIS, Al Qaeda, waste the natural resources on extravagant lifestyle and obeying their masters. No a single positive thing can be said about them.

That is a video of 2013. Massacres of Syrians weren't that known on main stream media. There were even pro-Assad rallies during that days in couple of locations. You don't see that anymore. It is hard to stand behind Assad. You have to be an Iranian without a heart and soul or Russian who only cares about his own interests to have support for Assad. Even that CHP party who stood behind Assad doesn't have face to do show support for Assad.

.
so much misinformation in this thread make one wonder
idiots are idiots
first of all the translation of the video is fucked up and incorrect

he said the the expense of living in Kuwait is way to much compared to other so instead of giving 1,000,000 refuge in this country we can make it 3,000,000 in other country at the same standard which is closer

and we have millions of Syrian here and all have homes and free medical and education not small shacks.

Saudi's Aid to Syrian Refugees is incomparable to what all Islamic & non-Islamic countries have done

Saudi Arabia Increases Aid for Syrian People
January 15, 2014
(Washington, DC) -- Today, Saudi Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf announced that Saudi Arabia has increased its financial assistance for the Syrian people by $60 million, bringing the total for disbursement during the coming period to $250 million. Al-Assaf made the announcement while addressing the Second International Humanitarian Pledging Conference on Syria held in Kuwait.
Al-Assaf, who led the Kingdom’s delegation to the conference, reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to the Syrian people. He stated, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen to provide support for the Syrian refugees with aid totaling $448 million, about $260 millionof which has already been paid in collaboration with a number of institutions working in the relief field for the Syrian people.”
On January 22, 2014 Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal said in an Official Statement:
“We realized that the most important content of this announcement is the formation of a transitional government with full powers in order to manage the state's affairs from political, security and military aspects. Bashar Al-Assad or any of his regime's symbols whose hands are stained with blood of Syrians will have no current or future role in this arrangement.

To get Syria out of this dark tunnel, our start to the desired solution should be based on the following elements: first, immediate withdrawal of all foreign forces and armed elements of the Syrian territories, including the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Forces and the Hezbollah militia; second, end the fighting and lift the siege on the Syrian cities and villages, including air strikes and artillery implemented by the regime; third, find safe areas and corridors for the delivery of aid to the Syrians under international supervision; fourth, release prisoners and detainees held by the Syrian regime. It is time to stop the bloodshed and end the suffering of the Syrian people. It is a favorable opportunity for us not to let down the Syrians again.”

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued the following statement:

The Royal Saudi Air Force today participated in military operations over Syria to confront terrorism emanating from Daash (ISIS) and to support the moderate Syrian opposition as part of an international coalition to defeat terrorism, which is a deadly evil afflicting the world, and to support the fraternal Syrian people to restore security, unity and to rebuild their suffering nation.

September 25, 2014 Prince Saud said in an Official Statement:
while a political settlement based on the Geneva Declaration is needed to end the conflict, the Kingdom is convinced that the regime of Bashar Al-Assad won’t accept to sit down at the negotiating table unless the change of scales on the ground is in favor of the moderate forces. "In this sense, our support for the moderate Syrian opposition forces should not be limited to military support to counter terrorist groups in Syrian territory, but should include practical steps to weaken the Syrian regime by tightening the economic blockade, begin to pursue its symbols through the mechanisms of international justice for their crimes committed against the Syrian people, enhance its political isolation and encourage defections in the ranks of the civilian and military personnel from within the regime."

Prince Saud concluded that the regime of Bashar Al-Assad has lost its legitimacy due to its inhuman practices and policies that have created a fertile environment for terrorism, and; therefore, a solution to this dilemma will not be found, except through its departure from the political scene with those whose hands are tarnished with the blood of the Syrians.”

The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia welcomed thousands of Syrian Refugees into Saudi for residential stay without any stipulations, confines or Visa, and covered all their expenses and offered them shielding and sheltering

The Syrian Refugees were to choose from either 2 options:

or
2- That the Syrian Refugees chooses to be transferred to a large hotel in the city of Samtha (a town and sub-division in Jizan Province, in southwestern Saudi Arabia), where a flat is distributed for each Syrian family, and the government of Saudi Arabia covers his full food, drink, and clothing expenses. Information the reader must understand:
Saudi Arabia’s population stood at 30.8 million at the end of 2014, a 2.6 percent rise from 2013, according to data released by the Kingdom’s Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI).

There were 20.7 million Saudis, making up 67 percent of the population, while the number of foreigners stood at 10.1 million or 33 percent, according to an analysis conducted by the economics reporting unit of Al-Eqtisadiah.
The population had grown by 2.7 percent from 2012 to 2013, amounting to 29.2 million people. This consisted of 20.3 million Saudis and 9.7 million foreigners.

The CDSI said that the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) stood at SR2.82 trillion at the end of 2014, while per capita GDP was SR91,700.
Per capita GDP had grown by 9 percent over the past 11 years, an annual increase of SR4,900.
The highest per capita GDP growth was between 2004 and 2005, when it grew by 23 percent, or from SR43,000 to SR52,800.
According to the analysis, per capita GDP dropped 19 percent between 2008 and 2009, from SR87,600 to SR63,400, as a result of the global financial crisis.

The number of foreigners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounts to more than 10 million, representing one-third of the population of whom are 600,000 Syrian's ! 800,000 Yemenis ! 120,000 Palestinians! 500,000 Bangladeshi! 500,000 Filipino! 30,000 Somalians ! 20,000 Afghan's ! 20,000Nepalis ! 230,000 Sudanis ! and 30,000 from South Sudan ! 30,000 Ethiopians ! 40,000 Eritreans ! 10,000 Nigerians ! and others, as for the Indian, Egyptian , Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Yemeni nationalities are the most common in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Note that the majority of these foreigners are expatriates meaning that THEY ARE NOT BORN IN SAUDI ! The majority of the 600,000 Syrians and 460,000 out of the 800,000 Yemenis residing in Saudi are expatriates and refugees

Immigrants in Saudi make up more than 30% of the total population, according to UN data (2013) (July 2015 est.)
Hundreds of thousands of immigrants from all Islamic countries and others have always been welcomed, whether to ask for a livelihood or to seek knowledge or request asylum or security, and so on. Therefore, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a significant burden that can not be borne alone manned with this number of migrants. Therefore it creates, provides, and funds refugee camps in Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon and elsewhere for Syrians and others, and as you have seen in my research here the enormous amount of aid and finances that the Saudi government has provided for (Syrian refugees only) which has exceeded billions of dollars let aside all the other nationalities including Yemeni refugees and others that the kingdom is funding and providing housings, camps, and aid for.

In addition to all this information I provided in my research that the majority of the people don't know about whether its the ignoramus haters on the kingdom or the non haters is that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the 16th of March 2015 Saudi has entitled Four million (4,000,000) Burmese residents to obtain "Iqamaah" in Saudi and back in 23rd of March 2013 Prince Khaled Al-Faisal distributed free residency permits (iqamas) to the Burmese community and legalized the status of nearly 500,000 Burmese refugees ! The Saudi government provided Burmese with health care, social services, education and develop their residential areas as part of a comprehensive program. They also train them to get jobs. Also King Abdullah ordered the formation of a ministerial committee for the development of disorganized residential districts in Makkah to improve the situation of Burmese Muslims living in those districts.

So in fact Saudi already has welcomed hundreds of thousands of Syrians, Burmese, Yemnis and others also Saudi tries to decrease extending the visits in order for them to give a chance for other people to make 'umra although they are not implementing this on Syrians !

Al-Luaydaan (Official speaker of the General Department of Passports) said: The extension of visits will be stopped starting from the end of next month Sha'ban except for Syrians living in the kingdom on a visit visa. One of the main reasions on the decision to stop the extension of the arrivals visits, is to provide an opportunity for others who want to make Umrah.

The Saudi Government has also decided Not to deport any Syrian citizen resident on its territory even if his residence permit has expired. The King gave orders not to deport Syrians or trouble them with legal accountabilities or irregularities because of the situation in Syria. This procedure applied to every Syrian in Saudi Arabia.

Oh Turkey just poured money and guns?
Is that why Erdogan urged Assad multiple times to implement reforms, and sent several Turkish delegations in 2011 to help him with that?
Qatar also urged reform (irony, I know), yet Assad did nothing.
When it became apparent Assad wanted war, Turkey and Qatar helped rebels. Yes, they helped for their own interests, but their help helped the Syrian people, which is a good thing.

Meanwhile, Assad's allies poured in weapons, money, ammunition, mercenaries, etc the whole time.

Not taking refugess is shamful on us and our regimes, to be honest.

You forgot to add Turkey, Japan, and S. Korea. They do have their own military US bases as well. Please see the picture below, it should make you a "proud Persian".

Notice in the article that Syria wanted both talks and reforms while Arab league and opposition both wanted Assad to step down. What if they had agreed instead? There would be reforms and maybe slow evolution of the political structure. Not the best situation but what is the current alternative? Arrogance from the political indept Arab league and rebel thugs has only brought destruction to the region.
