Why doesnt pak have social secuirty or benefits for ppl

Why did you elect Nawaz Sharif, Benazir Bhutto, Asif Zardari and now support that clown, Bilawal Bhutto? 20 years of rule by traitors in the name democracy, looted, plundered, raped and left to the side of the curb by inbred traitors. Those of you Pakistanis who ask such questions, should rather ask yourselves this ... "Why in 72 years, Pakistanis haven't been able to unite as a nation, become true Muslims and fight against oppression and inequality? Answer, because you all are too busy worshipping bollywood like idiots and because you think it is the job of the government to protect the people!! .... Well then, you certainly elected outstanding governments over the last three decades, didn't ya!!"

We will need to have a good taxation system, with some hefty taxes, even on the middle class. Problem is that even if we do collect taxes, providing basic social coverage to such a large population would be very difficult due to the lack of good infrastructure and good institutions.

In fact, we do have subsidized health care and education in the form of government run school and hospitals, but we all know the level of quality they provide.

I think due to our location and high need for defense spending as well as poor economy it will never happen unless threat from countries around us like afghanistan and india is eliminated

Ohh please... That has got nothing to do with defense spending. Rather defense spending should be increased in terms of procurements and raising new fleets/squadrons. People indirectly give huge rishwats and bhattas, if they convert it to taxes, and so called “pOoR pEoPle” also don’t cry paying 2-3 rupees tax and chanting “yE dEkHo tABdEeLi”, future can become better, else remain in the dark pit we are forever
