Why does toothpaste come in a paper packaging?

I never thought of that, how useless it is actually.

I did used Dentonic somewhere during 1995-98, when I was at hostel, at PIPS & College, Abbottabad along with Bodyguard soap. I am still unable to evaluate the effects of Dentonic and its still available at super stores in Pakistan, but the Bodyguard soap isn't available.

We had sparkle chotoo the famous one. May be if there was one, then they had it sorted out right. It saves them the money too.

For US brands it may be a result of the Tylenol scare and easy stacking issues on shelves.

Not all US toothpaste comes in boxes. Most adult one's do.
