Their is nothing wrong in what Pakistan is doing, even if they are trying to use the opportunity. Why one should not use opportunity, who will not do that, if they does not do it they are not doing their job.
Its the job GOP and PA to make sure that they defend their country, and to do this they need weapons, so whatever it takes they should not let go any opportunity to get state of art weapons period.

About India getting scared, even that is not true. India does not want to let go any opportunity to make sure Pakistan does not get state of art weapons. It does not matter how many weapons we have, every country will try to have as much edge as possible against their arch rival. What is wrong with that?

The defense strategy should be simple, try to get as much as possible, also try to block the enemy from getting any weapons as much as possible. We are doing it, and we should be doing it. However journalist have to write something to earn bread and butter so they are doing what they are suppose to.

We feel winning works, it made USA reduce the supply of weapons to Pakistan. Winning or crying whatever you guys say if it works we should do it simple as that.

The fact of the matter is, no one really listens to either Pakistans or India's protests. Indians claimed victories previously when it was unclear whether its India's influence denying us weaponry or is it America's influence.

It turned out it was America's. The proof is in the pudding. India's whin-o-hurricane couldn't budge the Russian sale of RD-93 because of whom we have JF-17s in service today and India's LCA is nowhere in sight.

The US is not going to listen to India because it makes unreasonable demands to curb Pakistani weaponry. The US offers one generation better weapons to Indians than what it sells to the Pakistanis. For Pakistan just trading with the Americans is a technological loss for Pakistan since the baseline is "Indians will be offered something better".

The better question that needs to be asked our leaders is, can F-16s be truly used to fight India? Or is it just keep the American companies happy with our orders?

I know Chinese products don't compare with American ones, but they are getting there. It's better to not waste money but spend it upon technology that may enable future indigenization of our forces. The future belongs to China, the US F-16s are a temporary distraction - look away!
