Why do BRICS mistreat russia so badly and don´t stand by it?

i make nothing up. Its ridicolous to claim all slavic lamguages, names are same. No ukrainian want to be called russian, no bulgarian want to be called russian. Just as no spanish or french, italian want be mistake for another romanic language speakers nation.

As for backing things up. I say what i know and believe in. This forum here is not important enough to back anytjing up. Its for fun and nothing else. See what people from poor countries think and so on.

East Slavic and to some extent west is very similar if not identical. If i gave you common names from Ukraine, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, ect you would not know the nationality from which that person hails.

Well, nobody really knows how much the gaz deal between Russia and China costs(apart from officials i the 2 countries). Its all just speculation for now, so we should just leave it there for now.

As for BRICS not supporting Russia or whatever, Well even if they didn't we cant blame them. Each and every country strives to protect their own interests, so if they see an opportunity to exploit to make more bucks/serve their interests, then of course, i dont see why they shouldn't use it. Thats how every country behaves in geo politics(well thats how every country ought to behave). However, in this case, I think the BRICS country have been largely supportive of Russia, contrary to what many of us believe. Especially China and to some extent India. Both of them have not imposed any sanctions/restrictions of their trade with Russia, in fact they have even signed more deals(especially China) with Russia to offset the effects of our sanctions on Russia. India too has done some few deals with Russia, though it doesnt get much limelight like the one China has done with Russia, due mainly to Chinas size/industrial weight/proximity to Russia which gives it more opportunities to sign much more deals/trade with Russia.

Overall, the BRICS is just a loose organization, whose members dont have much in common, apart from being developing countries.So i dont think they will pose any threat at all for us. We have a varying degree of relations with each memeber. In fact our relations/trades with most of the BRICS countries is more than the trade among themsleves. This just goes to show that we even have much more interests in these countries than they have among themselves. So is more of a show than real alternative alliance or whatever(much like SCO). Nothing much to worry about.

That is 100% correct, most Bulgarian last names end in in 'ov' as in Federov, which is Russian. The 'ski' part is also true, it's also used in other european countries as well. As for Russians and Ukrainians the last names and first names are almost identical. The 'ko' is considered a Ukrainian surname but many Russians also have that, for instance Emelianenko. 'uk', as in Yatsunyuk is also Ukrainian but many Russian also have this name too, 'ov' is typically a Russian surname with many Ukrainians also having this last name. 'in' as in Fedorkin is also another common Russian last name that is seen in Ukraine.

From what can be read from China and Russia side, it did not seem that Russia is getting a bad deal.

Even assuming if Russia did have a not so satisfying deal, Russia should be thankful that they could have an alternative large scale customer.

If Russia have to make a compromise in reaching the deal because they were force to, by the circumstances that they were in, I think Russian would be smarter than the OP think.

Lay the blame on the door of the one that force them into that circumstances in the first place. That is where it should belongs.

There are many people of Russian/Ukrainian descent living in Lithunia,Latvia,Estonia for decades. .Second,Bulgarian,Poles,Russian,ukrainians,slovaks have pretty similiar names. But then you are a total idiot and have proven that again and again with flying colors.Many Slovaks,Bulgarians,Ukrainian,Russian have 'ov/ova' in their surnames. Russian were living in the Baltic States, long before German colonialists came there . Besides, we must not forget that these lands were part of the Russian Empire for over 200 years, until 1918, and then part of the USSR 1939-1991.

You can read alot about BRICS here and how they should stand united. But simple fact is, that both China and Brazil icecold use russias current situation to push deal through which russia would never had agreed under normal circumstances.

Take the china - russia gas deal. China tried for years to get this contract under this ridicolous low price and russia did always denie to sign the contract. Now under western sanctions Putin signed it. The deal is so unfortunate for russia, that it even pays money to deliver gas to China.
